You were? Hmmm...maybe i was thinking of some other faux conservative... so tell us how defunding an unpopular law will result in GOP loss.I was closer than most. I predicted GOP with 52 seats.

Typical...run away.Sorry, this conversation is over. I'm not taking your bait.
Typical...run away.
Obamacare is here to stay, whether you like it or not. The GOP will ensure their utter defeat in 2016 if they attempt to defund it.
Republicans weigh government shutdown to stop Obama on immigration
In contrast, last time the GOP shut down the government:
Poll: Major damage to GOP after shutdown, and broad dissatisfaction with government - The Washington Post
Polls: Shutdown nightmare for Republicans - Tal Kopan - POLITICO.com
Poll shows Republicans taking blame for government shutdown - Los Angeles Times
Boomerang! Poll Reveals GOP's Government Shutdown Bolstered Obamacare's Popularity By 20% - Forbes
Poll: Government Shutdown Damages GOP - Business Insider
I'm sure that this time, a government shutdown will be positive for the GOPs image. Flight attendants, PR appointees and HS students will support this and it will give the GOP an even bigger majority in 2016. Using the shutdown option will also bring in support from Independents. They seem to be in favor of such things.
What has the House put on its floor to replace ACA?If this logic is correct then frankly they've ensured their defeat by winning in 2014,
since they won in 2014 on the backs of promises to defund and attempt to tear down and replace Obamacare.
You know full well that polls are in opposite directions as to what Americans want.So taking your logic...if they do what they've actually campaigned to do (let's get this on the record, Dana is on the record supporting Politicians, for purely political reasons lying to their constitutents and refusing to do what they campaigned to) they'll lose big in 2016....and realistically, if they give the big middle finger to their constituents and refuse to even TRY to do what they were elected to do then they'll probably ALSO lose in 2016.
Yes, shut the damn government down. Impeach Obama too.
Match your words with action. Bring it on.
Just the opposite, doing this would bring many distaff republicans back to the party. Remember, Obamacare is still unpopular with voters and will be even more so by 2016.
