A survey conducted by Americans for Contraception shows the overwhelming popularity of birth control, and suggests voters are primed to punish Republicans for opposing a measure to protect access to it.
One month after the Supreme Court struck down the right to an abortion, Democrats who then controlled the House pushed through a bill aimed to ensure access to contraception nationwide. All but eight Republicans opposed it. [paywall]

Repug push against the universal availability of contraception could be the end of them, like the Whigs. Trump may find out that his packing the Supremes will wind up being the end of the Right.

I think the deeper that American Taliban goes with this, the more likely it is to have consequences. It needs to get to the point where the average younger woman (or older woman for that matter) is viscerally angry about this, to the point where they can't see any other issue - immigration, economy, crime - except for their future status in this country.

Yeah, we knew it, and they've now proved it. Bye Bye cons! 👋 You're every thing we thought and more, and that's not a good thing.

You guys have more faith in the average Republican voter than I do.

My guess is that passing such a law will only reduce their support by .002%

Abortion, then IVF, next birth control? Trump will typically say he's all for it, like he was all for the righties he packed the Supremes with. Contraception ban will be the end of Trump & the Right.

Trump will never break ground at a big new condom factory.

Yea. Lets see if they put their money where their mouth is as a whole.

Sex in a condom is like wearing a rain coat.

The taliborngain republicans live in an alternate universe. Thankfully they are diminishing due to natural attrition.

This nation will be so much better when they become daisy propellant.
