Now what really matters to those of us that care about local politics. The State legislatures. I haven't dug up anything regarding county government yet, but my guess is it went pretty much the same way for Republicans.

Thoughts?

I know the Mass state House went Republican last night, but the Senate went farther Democrat. Twas odd.

I don't understand why people are giving so much anti-democrat sentiments. Republicans have controlled the White House for the majority of the last 10 years. Dems can't fix the economy in 20 months and now everyone screams, we want change? What change? Republicans? We've already been there and tried that, lets give the Dems a little longer to see if they can do any better. Besides, they did end the recession in 2009.

Um.. Satire?

Not much to say. The Republicans deserve to control Congress for the next decade because of their great virtue and ability to govern economically, with wisdom and restraint. Their ability to reduce the deficit and solve all the issues which perplex American society is unparalleled.

That's satire. I wish we could go back to Nixon's Republican Party.
