Melania has generally been absent from Trump's life for the past 2 years. To begin with in 2021 after he left the WH, Melania did not attend Trump's birthday party and since then, she has only been around Trump in Public on just a few occasions.

If you’ve been keeping up with the whereabouts of a certain former first lady, you likely know that after skipping Donald Trump’s arraignment in New York and post-arraignment speech in Palm Beach last week, Melania Trump made a public appearance with her husband on Sunday, sitting alongside him in the Mar-a-Lago dining room. Given that the ex-president’s third wife is said to still be pissed about her spouse’s alleged affair with adult film star Stormy Daniels, which he denies, and doesn’t generally appear to like him at all, you might be wondering why she deigned to break bread with the guy this weekend. Was it because she’s contractually obligated to share the same airspace as Trump at least two times a month? Did she show up to the dining room and, finding all the tables taken, decide, “F--k it, I’ll sit with him”? Does the couple spend every second Sunday of the month discussing literature, philosophy, and ancient Greece, no matter how angry they are with each other? According to a new report, the answer is d, none of the above.

I have to believe that Melania checks the obits first thing every morning.

She has already exceeded my expectations of marriage longevity by some months. I figured she'd have been gone already by the end of last year. It will be interesting to see if a guilty verdict in Trump's rape trial has any impact on her fealty and fidelity.

It would be an entertaining exercise to monitor her bank account. I can't help but wonder if he pays her by the event.
 
Melania is the boss of *Rump, no doubt in my mind. She will stay with him until the cha-ching of staying is less than the cha-ching of going.

I bet he's paying her to stay. Running for president again while getting a divorce is not a good look.

Wouldnt surprise me, we've seen her distaste for him in public many times.

Yeah .... you would think, right? But considering the long litany of things Trump has done that come under the heading "not a good look", you'd have to wonder why it would matter to him.

Anyone who can proudly publicly proclaim that he could shoot someone in the middle of 5th Avenue and not lose any votes, clearly doesn't give a shit about the optics.

Because I don't care if a candidate is going through a divorce or if a president had an affair. Sure, not a "good look", but at the end of the day does it dictate how they will govern?
I can see it now. Trump going through divorce! Not fit for office!
Note: I could do without Trump/Biden again. Don't care for either at this point.

melania didn't marry trump to divorce him.

She married him to out live him.

I would be very shocked if that marriage ended in divorce instead of trump dying of old age.

the kid is a teen now, whose father gets a lot of negative press
probably needs to be around to place the media criticisms in to context
if my dad was the most hated person on the planet, a caring mom would be the one thing which could preserve my sanity and self-identity

i may be giving her too much credit; however, i remember she took the heat after the 2016 election when she stayed in NYC while her son completed the year at school

this is the only thing about melanie that i cannot criticize
 
Melania's probably one of my favorite Flotus of my lifetime. I wouldn't want to be seen in public with Trump either!
