Hilarious dialog from earlier this morning with Niel Cavuto and Representative Jim Clayburn. They were discussing the impending doom of the Trump Administration which will come into power in January:
Clayburn:
"I hope [our country] is not going too far right, as what happened in Germany in the 1930s - which you remember I forewarned way back in 2018 - that I saw this coming. I've studied history all of my life. What I said on another network is now coming to pass. People chastised me for saying it at the time, but now they are seeing it."
Cavuto:
"How are they seeing it?? He's not president yet. I mean, are you alluding to another Hitler? Is that what you're saying?"
Clayburn:
"That's EXACTLY what I'm saying. I said the 1930s in Germany - - and of course Mussolini and Hitler."
Cavuto:
"You don't think that's a little hyperbolic?"
Clayburn:
"No. . . ."
We have so many nutjobs in Congress. Thankfully they are now the minority. It crucial that GOP holds the lead in both Houses.
Righties love it when LWLs make asses of themselves. Representative Clayburn did that perfectly.I thought the Right loved it when people spoke their minds. Does that only apply to the righties?

It's a stupid question and doesn't deserve an answer. You didn't answer my question.
I'm guessing it's hilarious to the OP that someone sees historical parallels between the rise of fascism in 1930s Germany and Donald's return to power in 21st C America. What’s wrong with this conversation?
It's a stupid question and doesn't deserve an answer.
If you have a point, THEN MAKE IT.
Hes free to speak his mind and prove what an idiot he is. A lot of leftist dunces here at DP do the same thing and use the same dumb argument.I thought the Right loved it when people spoke their minds. Does that only apply to the righties?
Exactly right.Because of course that is crazy lib hysteria and fearmongering
Are you pretending that Republicans are a voice of reason and sanity in Congress?Hilarious dialog from earlier this morning with Niel Cavuto and Representative Jim Clayburn. They were discussing the impending doom of the Trump Administration which will come into power in January:

This was live broadcast less than an hour ago.Link?
Ah, too bad. Would have been good to see it in it's entirety. Maybe youtube will have it later. This was live broadcast.
I dunno that he isn't right in terms of too far right and leaders who are autocrats like Mussolini and Hitler. I don't think he was referring to the crimes against humanity. It is alarming to watch Trump circumvent proper background checks, and very possibly the Constitution, in order to install unqualified loyalists who will do as told. Right now Trumpers are defending that because they aren't looking at it objectively, they too have unquestioned loyalty to their leader. Allowing a politician to go unchecked is what happened in Italy and Germany and we see it now in Russia, China and N Korea......be careful what you ask for, you may get it.Righties love it when LWLs make asses of themselves. Representative Clayburn did that perfectly.
Lol keep banging that drum!Clayburn is just pissed that all his work setting up election fraud that couldn't be used came to nought.
He likes that puff of dust that raises when he beats that dead horse.Lol keep banging that drum!
Well, you got the important part, which is that Rep. Clayburn is a wacko, and has no business being a lawmaker in Congress. That's the point of the thread - to demonstrate WHY the swamp needs draining.Ah, too bad. Would have been good to see it in it's entirety. Maybe youtube will have it later.

Everything is there verbatim - and the context is there. The rest of their conversation is not going change that the reality that Rep. Jim Clayburn thinks that Trump is another Adolph Hitler.
