Oh no! Rand Paul finally sees the light!

Grabbing 'em by the p&%ssy - no issues!

Illegal payoffs to prostitutes were fine.

Bribery of Ukrainian President for dirt on political opponent was normal. He actively worked to acquit Trump.

Purposefully mishandling COVID as it would affect Blue States more - no problem.

Coup attempts perfectly good! He actively worked to dismiss the second impeachment trial.

Pardoning Jan 6 violent criminals that attacked law enforcement - all good stuff!

Continuous corruption and anti science stance - applauded.

So, what did cause Rand Paul to finally see the light and finally "lose a lot of respect" for Trump? Are you ready? It's a big one! ....

He was disinvited from a picnic.

Well, his calculus is that MAGA Jesus will be out of office by 2028, as he's running for re-election. But, out of office doesn't mean out of power.

You forgot about Rand Paul's opposition to Trump's tariffs and the big, beautiful bill. That's why Rand Paul got disinvited from the picnic. He also refused to endorse Trump in 2024, so the picnic was not the only reason he turned against Trump.

Rand Paul has been cultivating Donald Trump's respect for the past 10 years. He defended him during his impeachment trial and has been a loyal ally for many years, but Trump has repaid his loyalty by kicking dirt in his eye over a policy disagreement. What happened to MAGA unity?

Rand Paul, for better or worse, supported Trump during his impeachment trial. I honestly don't blame him when voting for impeachment ended the career of his buddy Justin Amash, but I can see how you would find it cowardly to oppose Trump's impeachment. Personally, I don't think Trump's Ukraine phone call was an impeachable offense, so I defend Rand Paul opposing impeachment.
 
Then he is a coward that supports killing my representatives. There is no grey area. You either vote to convict on something so goddamn obvious or you are a coward on a subhuman level and a traitor to our republic.

Rand Paul became no better than any enemy of the US.

This is no small deal. A lot of people don’t know this, but Brutus decided to take part in the assassination of Julius Caesar after the Roman general disinvited him from a picnic.

In all seriousness, the best vote I ever cast for president was for RON Paul during the 2012 GOP primary. Rand Paul is NOT the man his father was.
