Court date is March 4 for Dolezal, who has changed her name to Nkechi* Diallo.
From Fox News:
A judge in Washington state has set a new trial date in the welfare fraud case of Rachel Dolezal, the former president of an NAACP chapter in Washington state who made headlines in 2015 after her parents debunked her claims of being African-American.
Investigators claim that several years back Diallo began falsifying reports of her income so that she could qualify for public assistance, the station reported. She claimed she was living on just a few hundred dollars a month, donated by friends, the report said.
She was able to collect nearly $9,000 in state financial assistance from August 2015 to November 2017, Spokane's KHQ-TV reported, citing court documents. But a state investigation of her banking records found she deposited more than $80,000 in that same time period, the report said. https://www.foxnews.com/us/washingt...p-president-charged-with-welfare-fraud-report
So she's not just bat-guano crazy; she's a thief.
*"Nkechi" is an Igbo (southeastern Nigeria) name for "God's own."

Once you're a confirmed liar, what's the big deal about becoming a thief? I hope she reclaims some sense of personal honor eventually, but the name change doesn't suggest It's gonna happen any time soon. It looks like she's still denying who she is.
And who are we to deny she is black? A man can put on some make-up and claim to be a woman, why cant a white woman put on some make-up and claim to be black. By changing her name she is simply embracing her new found African heritage. And we can probably attribute her fraud charges to racism.
Collecting state financial assistance at a time when she had $80,000 dollars?
A person with so many issues. Why the name change to Nkechi Diallo?
To hide her past problems? Good the state found the fraud and will prosecute.
