That reminds me.. it's almost classic.....
...
- The Rabbi's are with "Jewish Funds for Justice"...
- According to Jewish Funds for Justice, they are a "progressive Jewish organization" advocating social justice, wealth redistribution and are involved in community organizing...
- Jewish Funds for Justice receives funding from George Soros...
- Jewish Funds for Justice has 4 stories on their front page and 3 attack Glenn Beck...
- Jewish Funds for Justice did not denounce Steve Cohen for using Holocaust terminology to attack Republicans on house floor...
"...The compilers are obviously of the Radical Left. But that's no reason to publish Anonymously.
.....
...They know there are anti-Jewish Jewish groups, many with
'Jew ... Justice' as their name.
Where better to hide an Anti-Jewish document?
Why hide it at all? To quote from OCME:
"One further point: being Jewish ourselves, the position we present here is critical of Zionism but is in no way anti-Semitic. We do not believe that the Jews acted worse than any other group might have acted in their situation".
In sum, I believe OCME was compiled by Christians who thought themselves clever to hide their work under a Jewish name, the better to help the Arab cause.
The real awfulness is that there are enough Jewish groups devoted to destroying Israel that the name Jews for Justice in the Middle East makes a plausible hiding place.
Orthodox or conservative?
So.......does this now mean jews own the terms, nazi and holocaust, and only jews can now use those terms?
Don't forget "blood libel". No one else is allowed to use that term either.
That last sentence is the funniest part of this whole thing. This is a group of Conservative rabbis, some who are even ultraconservative. What is the response of FOX News to the letter? To call them Leftists and Liberals. This, my friends, is the mindset of FOX News, in a nutshell. Whoever disagrees with them is automatically Liberal.
Finally, the issue here is not about George Soros, who happens to be a Liberal. The issue is this: As we celebrate Holocaust Remembrance Day, which just passed, we need to make damn sure that the remembrance is about the Holocaust. And propagandists masquerading as a legitimate news organization belittles what happened in Germany during that hellish period, when they use it to attack those who disagree with their points of view.
I remember when Bush was in office, and Liberals were calling him a Nazi. FOX News defended Bush, and called those Liberals reprehensible in their portrayal of him as one. Now that a Liberal is in their gun sights, FOX News has absolutely no problem doing the exact same thing the Liberals did, and that FOX News called shameful - Calling opponents Nazis.
So, to FOX News, I say this: By your own standards, you are now Liberals. Now that you know this, are you guys going to go out and commit suicide?
Article is here.
I cannot use [the word 'Holocaust'] anymore. First, because there are no words, and also because it has become to trivialized that I cannot use it anymore. Whatever mishap occurs now, they call it 'holocaust'. I have seen it myself in television in the country in which I live. A commentator describing the defeat of a sports team, somewhere, called it a 'holocaust'. I have read in a very prestigious newspaper published in California, a description of the murder of six people, and the author called it a holocaust. So, I have no words anymore.[2]
The only reference I saw was Beck's claim that Soros helped the Nazis send Jews to death camps. Seems to me that the real question is whether this was true or not. If true, then the Rabbis should be criticizing Soros instead of Beck. Some actual quotes from Beck calling Soros a Nazi would have been nice. The article has none. Since I've never watched Beck's show, I can't confirm or deny that he called him a Nazi, so quotes would have been nice.
I wonder if these Rabbis also sent a letter of protest to Representative Cohen of Memphis for calling Republicans Nazis.

It shows Soros here saying that was the happiest time of his life. Beck is not demonizing the 14 yr old boy, but trying to understand the 80 yr old man who has no regrets.
I can't fathom why any Jewish org would side with Soros over Beck.
There's a thread somewhere here about a Dem representative who compared Reps to Nazis. I trust I would find an indignant post of this nature, by you, in that thread? This was a long time coming..
In the words of Holocaust survivor Elie Wiesel,
Holocaust trivialization debate - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Idiots like Beck are so desperate to make somebody look like a monster, they start making Holocaust comparisons... and it doesn't make Soros look like a monster, or Bush or Obama look like mass murders. All it does is devalue the word Holocaust itself and trivialize it's meaning... Beck is a flaming moron and I can't believe people buy the clown's books and support this behaviour.
Maybe it would take throwing him in him a cattle car, completely dehumanizing him, removing all his basic rights, and treating him like a rat in a sadistic, medical testing lab for him to actually understand what the hell the Holocaust was and what Nazis did.

Beck doesn't care about Jewish people or their suffering.. he is a f**king opportunist... He is using anything he can to make Soros look bad, because he has beef... not because Beck cares about making things right. I see no reason why I should take either side on this matter. Beck is probably splicing quotes and clips together... Where is the whole story? Where is Soro's response and equal chance to defend himself?
Hmmmmmmm. Looks like a double standard to me. I try to point those out when I can, that's why I bring up what Dems do.Why do you have to bring up what the dems do?
I mentioned when it's said about Bush or Obama both... it's the same result... I am not a partisan hack or a hypocrite and I am not a democrat either... lol
If it takes a dem to stand up and act as equally stupid as Beck, for the right wing partisan hacks to realize how stupid their hacks are... then god bless the idiot on the left for acting like Beck...lol
Wow! You must know him pretty well to know so clearly what he cares about and what he doesn't...
She'd be second to PBaur, though. He can't get enough Beck. LOLWow! You must know him pretty well to know so clearly what he cares about and what he doesn't...

I've said it before, I don't care for Beck, but I sure as hell don't mind him calling out George Soros, while you seem to have a problem with that. You even go so far as to suggest Beck belongs in a concentration camp. Should you really wish that on on anyone?I called him an idiot... I don't see a double standard in my statements.
Beck is an idiot and so is that guy... However I do question if there is a double standard in your statements.
Are you telling me that the dem is an idiot... but are you going to go on and support Beck or not? Or are they both acting acceptably?

No?I am not wishing it on him... he's the one making Nazi/Holocaust comparisons like he has forgotten what really happened during the Holocaust.

No?
.
Ok, thanks for clarifying. I happen to be a big fan of Godwin's law. Truth is, I don't see/hear enough of Beck to know how often he draws comparisons or in what context. I wonder though, if maybe he does use it because conservatives are constantly being referred to as Nazis etc. Maybe a sorta, "use their own weapon against them" sort of thing. It said it might take that for him to understand what the Holocaust really was, and what Nazis did... I didn't suggest that I wanted it to happen to him. I quoted a Holocaust survivor to emphasis that he himself doesn't trivialize the word or appreciate others doing it and why... My opinion has always been that it is always inappropriate to trivialize the holocaust. It’s offensive and disrespectful, and whoever does it is not making any other point expect they they are an idiot.
You know... Godwin's Law? It's just a stupid tactic to resort to.
People want to say Bush is Hitler.. then they forgot who Hitler really was and they are demeaning what really happened during the Holocaust...
