Putting pressure on media vs influencers

Is one better or worse than the other? Is it wrong to put pressure on media outlets on stories, yet okay to do so to "influencers" since they are not really "journalists"?



I suppose one could accept that "influencers" are fair game because that is what they are in the business to do: influence people, and not necessarily share facts.
