Purchasing Blackout Day In America

All of us? Not even close.
Yes, all of us. We all benefit when no one is overlooked and all are given the chance to excel. What a loss for our country it would have been if Colin Powell, for example, had never had the chance to advance in the military. We also benefited from the expertise of Condeliza Rice and Madeline Albright.

I am sure 10s and 10s of people will participate, then again I am the kinda guy that would cut down a tree on arbor day if I deemed it needed.
Understand as Trump oversees all prices soar on all imported items people will simply stop buying. They don't need an official day to do it. Walmart for one just said it will have to raise prices on all items impacted by Trumps stupid idea. Small businesses will fail for having to raise prices. People will wait and not buy. Simple economics.

Good. The leftists can save their welfare checks for a day when they need it more. Proud of them.

Two different things.

One, the economics of tariffs.

I already know, and so should everyone else that has even mildly cracked open an Econ 101 book, that tariffs are designed to be inflationary. It stands to reason that larger chain retail operations who largely rely on offshore production for inexpensive products will ultimately raise prices to cover the new costs. When people buy less of those products you see the realized double impact to GDP. The Net Exports number is altered some, but more importantly the Consumer Spending and Business Investment numbers also change. And not all in a good way.

Two, an economic protest. Sort of.

A purchasing blackout day organized by "The People's Union," who few know about hence the "10s and 10s" comment I made, is a political response to that Trump's actions (trade, DEI, what have you) but is designed to be taken out on everyone else that is a seller to the various consumer markets.

- Will our overall economic numbers notice an impact? In the percent, of a percent, of a percent, of a percent, of yet another percent range... maybe.
- Will those same large chain retail operations notice an impact? Not enough to change anything.
- Will smaller mom and pop operations, smaller groups that participate in selling via Amazon, and other small retail shops and local owned businesses notice an impact? They might.

As usual, useless protest to make a political point is useless, and those it might harm, big might, are the vey people we do not need to see harmed.

🤷‍♀️ your loss
He makes garbage products that cost too much, exactly what the MAGAidot base supposedly wanted put to an end. You losing is epic, watching y'all gloat because it will soon be all you have left, is a pass time. I will SAVOR watching y'all rich, alt right, crazy posters go batshit when the inevitable financial ruin hits. See we poor "lefties" (actual FDR/Eisenhower centrists), are used to scraping by on nothing, for us it will roll off our backs like water on a duck; your types, the ones that post the kind of dishonest nonsense you do, well, are not so resourceful when the shit hits the fan, and it will be fun, and WELL deserved. Enjoy!

Fun fact, Elon did not invent anything, nor even found companies, he BOUGHT the title of founder, but well, facts, and your type of poster clearly do not mix....

Your "alternative facts" aren't serving you well.

"As usual, useless protest to make a political point is useless, and those it might harm, big might, are the vey people we do not need to see harmed." Spoken like a true right wing Trump nutcase that can't spell worth a damn.

I am not a Trump supporter, and a single typo... it becomes obvious you have nothing but fall back to incorrect generalizations and making it about the person.

Typical.
