No, that wasn't quite my point. The university is compartmentalized from the rest of society.
I feel the same way about conservatism, frankly.
That being said, the university is a place where these sessions can largely roam free.
They are literally hosting classes teaching men how to pick up strange at bars, while - quite paradoxically - still being "gentlemen."
Should we start hosting classes on how to get away with murder at prisons as well?
Patterson, for her part, said she and her group planned to set up a table at Monday night’s “How to be a Gentleman and Still Get Laid” campus event, led by Mihalko.
“The biggest act of being gentleman is accepting fatherhood,” she said. “We are going to be there and have a presence. We are not protesting or anything like that, we want people to know there are responsible people on campus who will help them.”

Liberal academia is such a wholesome and productive way to prepare yourself for a career nowdays.
Where do I sign my daughters up for this?!
The fact of the matter remains that they are deliberately going out of their way to not only condone promiscuous and sexually irresponsible behavior, but instruct their student body in how to pursue it.
They are supporting bad behavior.
Yeah, sure you do. Stop ****ing making **** up! You never in your life believed that conservatives promote promiscuity.
None of this will increase the chances of a less attractive man getting laid. Until that happens, not impressed.
Dude... chill the **** out.
The fact of the matter is I am somewhat inclined to agree with you because I'm not the biggest fan of promiscuity, but the fact of the matter is it's none of my business.
and being promiscuous doesn't necessarily mean one is irresponsible if they practice safe sex.
It's making the argument that getting "laid" is the ultimate concern. A proper gentleman would not succumb to that orientation. Even the term is beneath them.
Everyone's eating tacos.
you don't know
guys with power - and limited looks - get laid
to many women, power/influence/authority/fame is an aphrodisiac
it is more men who equate looks with sexual desirability
Who says modern "Liberal" culture doesn't encourage promiscuity and irresponsible sexual behavior among youth demographics, amirite?
There is nothing "compartmentalized" about this. This is clearly meant to be an event catering to the student body as a whole, which carries "official" sanction with it.
It'd be one thing if the University had a "sex club" somewhere on campus. This is something different entirely.
They are basically going out of their way to market sexually promiscuous lifestyles to their student body.

Sure I do. I see it all the time out in the real world. Male sexual conquest and titillation for many conservatives isn't nearly as big of a deal as it is when it's the women trying to do it. When liberals come across that knowledge, they often proclaim that it's just hypocrisy and we all need to be more open and yadda yadda. I'm of the opinion that outside the university, where certain amounts of debauchery can be accepted and moved on in four-six years, ought to be quashed when they remove themselves from it. Conservative men just aren't holding themselves to anywhere near the same standard they do women. I encourage them to do more, rather than less.

Promiscuity is "irresponsible sexual behavior" on an intrinsic level.
And if the campus were to officially host a "hate week," where they allowed the KKK, radical Islamists, and the more radically anti-homosexual elements of the Christian right to speak on campus for all students?
How would you feel about that?
The fact that such a thing would be next to unthinkable speaks volumes about the agenda at play here.
Conservatives are not promoting it.
Actually those classes teach RESPONSIBLE sexual behavior not irresponsible and I will take those classes over a conservative "Put an asprin between your knees" or "Abstinence" method.
Conservatives would rather a women not know anything and then get pregnant or an STD later.
please point out the "bad" behavior and explain what is found "bad" about it
what you are exposing us to is the result of years of repression
It is not.
Your judgmental worldview makes you believe it is.
Very personally I'm inclined to agree, but then again that would also make me a hypocrite because
A) I have slept with many more women than what is said to be the average.
B) I have no right in the public sphere to be judgmental about that kind of thing because it's a personal choice as long as both participants are consenting.
It happened, it's happening and it will continue to happen.
Conservatives are not promoting it.

STD infection chance, chances of unwanted pregnancy, and even a woman's odds of being raped or sexually assaulted all drastically increase with promiscuous behavior.
Again, I'm sorry, but there is absolutely nothing "responsible" about it. At best, it is a foolish behavior that people sometimes are able to get away with, like binge drinking or drunk driving.
It doesn't matter what people do or do not do in their spare time. That's not the issue.
The issue is whether or not a public institution should be going out of its way to encourage that kind of behavior.
If I'd spent good money to send me children to this university, just so they could teach them "slut tactics 101," I'd be furious.
