Protesters block buses carrying undocumented immigrants in California

I see, mountains of invisible proof only certain people can see, like the right.....and it's been hidden from the internet by super-duper-secret members of the GOP/TP. Gotcha.

LOL.

I'm afraid there is much digging left for you to do. Having learned to require others to do the lifting for you, that may not be possible.

I do have a question. Since it is against the law to enter this country illegally, why do you think Nancy Pelosi went to the border the other day and said the following:

"This crisis that some call a crisis, we have to view as an opportunity," Pelosi said. "If you believe as we do that every child, every person has a spark of divinity in them, and is therefore worthy of respect -- what we saw in those rooms was [a] dazzling, sparkling, array of God's children, worthy of respect."

About how much we've spent in the last 60 years on a sizable army of BPA's to apprehend, process, house, feed and deport illegal immigrants already just to be in the same or worse condition then before. Every administration for the past 6-7 could have been adding to the construction of an impenetrable fence and it would likely be complete by now. But that actually deflects from the reality that big business doesn't want secure borders and BOTH parties pander to big business.

Bitch all you want, but it's coming and there is nothing you or anyone else can do to stop it.

How does lice, scabies, TB equate into "dazzling and sparkling" ?
Progressives look at things differently.

Heya Paxaeon.
Just GOP/TP?

US releases immigrant families, won't say how many.....

The Obama administration has released into the U.S. an untold number of immigrant families caught traveling illegally from Central America in recent months — and although the government knows how many it's released, it won't say publicly. Senior U.S. officials directly familiar with the issue, including at the Homeland Security Department and White House, have so far dodged the answer on at least seven occasions over two weeks, alternately saying that they did not know the figure or didn't have it immediately at hand. "We will get back to you," the Homeland Security deputy secretary said Friday.

The figure is widely believed to exceed 40,000 since October. It's believed to be slightly below the roughly 52,000 children caught traveling illegally from Central America over the same period, an extraordinary increase since last year that is driving a humanitarian crisis at the border.

Despite promises to the contrary, this is how it looks when the image-conscious Obama administration doesn't want to reveal politically sensitive information that could influence an important policy debate. The mystery figure is significant because the number of families caught crossing from Central America represents a large share of new immigration cases that will further strain the overwhelmed U.S. immigration courts system. It also affects federal enforcement strategy, such as where to deploy the border patrol, and political calculations about whether Congress or the White House will relax American immigration laws or regulations before upcoming congressional elections in November.

Here are details of at least seven occasions since June 9 when senior U.S. officials declined to say how many immigrant families the government has released in recent months:.....snip~

For some who believe this issue has also recently exploded due to Obama might also want to read up on NAFTA and the long term effects. This is a rather older artice but I think it still shows some of the effects we are seeing even now:

Illegal Immigration and NAFTA | Economy In Crisis

The leading cause of the "invasion" is 18 years of the ill effects of NAFTA, a treaty that had bi-partisan support, further demonstration that neither party is interested in border security.

Bitch all you want, but it's coming and there is nothing you or anyone else can do to stop it.

BS. It will be stopped. The Progressive Machine agenda is already dead in the water, it just hasn't sunk in to it's followers.

There you go! And by the way, Ross Perot was right, and mainstream democrats and republicans need to be kicked to the curb.

Ike also did not have to deal with our current welfare system either. Nor was he dealing with decades of outsourcing. Nor an ineffective broken education system. Etc, Etc. Simply put, the conditions in the US and the World that Ike dealt with is not the conditions of today. Ike was when America stood against socialism, not after 50+ years of continuous systematic introduction of socialist ideas into our government. In other words, Ike was before America was crippled and damaged by Liberal policy. If you want to "Follow the History", then take in all of it, not just a small part that you want to see.

NAFTA was bad trade policy, and has had a detrimental impact on manufacturing in the U.S.. The continued illegal invasion of the United States supported and encouraged by the Obama Administration and it's backers and supporters has nothing to do with it.

There you go!

Nah.....here is one of the Problems Monte.

Do you think they should be telling people.....they aren't committing a crime? How about a little Hardball Diplomacy and telling Mexico to turn off their Spiket on their Southern Border? Do you think we can start from there. To start stemming the tide?

That's ridiculous, americanwoman provided documentation and there's plenty more. Your hatred for Obama is clouding your ability to be objective and acknowledge that both parties own our failed border security problem, neither of them having done a damn thing to secure our borders beyond window dressing. And partisan finger pointing won't accomplish it either.

But I agree, that is one of the problems, however, I'm shocked you would deny that NAFTA is also a problem and has been a factor in driving these people to our borders to begin with!!

It's a conspiracy!!

I have already uncovered the super secret Obama is really a Mexican plot here:

I don't want to be flippant, but realistically if you're advertising that you're going to be lenient and waive the law for young people in the country a certain period of time, you're bound to get all kinds of new children finding their way into the country and presented by existing residents as children who've been in the country for a long time.

Now, if you advertised that there's a shoot to kill order for anyone discovered trying to cross the border illegally at other than regulated border crossings, you'd likely have fewer taking the risk. Alternately, if you advertised that anyone discovered crossing the border illegally would be sent to internment camps for a minimum of 5 years and then deported, you'd likely have fewer taking the risk.

It's only human nature. If you tell a child that they can't have icecream but if they can find a way to break into the icecream parlour you'll give them a banana split, with no penalty if they fail, you're going to have lots of kids trying to find a way to break in.

Heya O5. :2wave: BO has known for the last 2-3years. Plush is EO in 2012.....was like a Shout Out for kids all over Central America. From NPR. So the problem has become more of crisis than it ever was before.

From A Stream To A Flood: Migrant Kids Overwhelm U.S. Border Agents.....
Migrants like Romero are creating a humanitarian crisis for federal border authorities.

In the Rio Grande Valley, currently the nation's hotspot, the Border Patrol catches about 700 people a day, and 20 percent of them are youngsters traveling alone. crossing he rest are adults, some with children. The numbers have been steadily climbing for the past two to three years.

"We're a short-term hold [facility]. We're not looking to hold anything more than one to two days, preferably 12 hours," says Cabrera. "And in some cases we're hitting about seven, eight to 10 days holding some people." The station doesn't have showers, a recreation area or proper bedding. The intention is to process the detainees as quickly as possible and then move the children to shelters that are being opened around the country. From there, caseworkers find family members who will take care of the children until they appear in immigration court.

Part of the solution, say Obama administration officials, is changing expectations.....snip~

Blah blah, hatred for Obama, clouding judgement, etc. etc.

Americanwoman provided a dubious report from McClatchy from over 3 years ago that blamed NAFTA for corn imports that caused millions of illegal alien farmers to enter the US. That's absurd. I live in Southern California, I'm not seeing former corn farmers among the millions of illegal aliens living across the region.

So, since your finger pointing while not finger pointing, what's the plan?

But I agree, that is one of the problems, however, I'm shocked you would deny that NAFTA is also a problem and has been a factor in driving these people to our borders to begin with!!

Well, I consider NAFTA to be minor compared to any FP that needs to be taking place with Mexico. So they have a clear understanding where they stand in the thick of things.

It astonishes me to read posts suggesting this invasion is something other than what it is. All logic has to be removed to reach that conclusion.

I have no idea what specific policy or law is responsible for this new wave. That's the bothersome part.

The specific policy that is responsible is Obama passing of the "Dream Act" by executive order.

20 million or so have already violated our borders without documentation, so yes, they can cross without documentation.

And yes, it is a major problem.

I realty was inquiring about the border patrol check points, not open countryside.

Yeah CJ :2wave: Signs signs.....everywhere there's signs. Don't do this, Don't do that. Everybody read the signs. :rock

One for those coming in and one for all those living inside.

So there hasn't been a steady influx of illegals before Obama? Come on, you have got to be kidding me that you think is because of OBama we have an influx of illegals. We've had this for DECADES.

True. BUT .....what is happening now is that thousands of MINORS, some in diapers, who will not be workers in our society for many years to come. They are unvaccinated, and many are ill, some even have TB. Border Patrol is overwhelmed and some of the workers have taken sick due to catching diseases the children have. In fact, in the OP the article states that many were taken to the hospital because they were ill. Who do you think will pay for these hospital visits?

There is no such thing as an 'anchor baby.' If the child is born here it is a citizen, the parents, if they are illegal, are not citizens and can be deported. They can choose to leave the child with family, with the state, or take with. But just having a baby here does not legally anchor you here.
