The U.S. was founded as a Christian country, it is difficult to believe that Founders would have been agree with the Leftists Agenda - pushing of Prostitution in the American society.
Prostitution was largely legal at the beginning,...
and was condemned or punished everywhere until Liberals and others Leftists embraced Prostitution and made it not only legal, but also admired and venerated it. If some Conservatives somewhere want to close brothels, than Leftists immediately cry out and sue against everybody who dare to close highly protected by Liberals whore-houses.
It's the oldest profession in the world they say, prostitution. In some countries it totally legal. In other countries (mostly western and especially the United States except for Reno) it is illegal.
The question is, under the United States Constitution, including all of the Amendments is it Constitutional or Unconstitutional for one to lease/rent their body out for the sexual pleasure of another?
Since this is stupid post day, why not.
It was not condemned or punished until much later. It was legal for some time. It's kinda like booze. It was all legal at the beginning till some prudes got it up their butt that they had the right to tell us what to do and what to consume; and went on some moral crusade to ban alcohol. This isn't really the government's concern, it's a personal and private matter. But there's no real crime when it comes to prostitution, not innately. And the use of actual brothels and proper regulation can alleviate a lot of the crime which has grown up around prostitution.
Well in my opinion, a woman can do with her body what she pleases. The government shouldn't have the say so over what she can or can't do with herself. Thats like the government saying you're no longer allowed to finger yourself, sorry,
Exactly. Your latent Libertarianism is growing in power! ;0Iwa said:Who is the government to tell ME that [insert anything]
Many womans forced to be prostitute, e.g. by Muslim gangs in Europa. All governments should prohibit any kind of prostitution because it is nothing as crime and filth. The predestination of a woman is to bear children, and not to sell hers body to everybody. It is a disgusting thing!

Or maybe do you agree with?
Some people need to read the Constitution. It isn't a Constitutional issue. It's a state issue. That's why it's legal in Nevada and not legal in Illinois.
If "pro" is the opposite of "con," then isn't "prostitution" the opposite of "constitution"? And therefore unconstitutional?
And while we're on the subject, isn't "Congress" the opposite of "progress"? :lamo
I never understood why I could have sex with someone for free, but if money should exchange hands it would suddenly become a crime.
I'd leave it to the states to decide. Federal government has no place making such a decision.

I thought the US was founded on the Egyptian religion, and the founders like to get it on. What? You think they were all gay? Half of them were screwing their slaves, as a perk of being the Master. Thomas Jefferson had a half dozen black children, so,.................. I guess they liked prostitution and so does the god of this nation, ol Joesph's best friend was screwing his lady Mary and had a kid. Yeah, lot of something going on there with the founding & founders, huh? LMAO!
It's the oldest profession in the world....
A person owns there body, it is their innate property. Prostitution should be legal, taxed, and unionized.
