It won't be cheaper to replace illegals with U.S. citizens but I suspect there would be enough locals on unemployment who are willing to work in jobs currently held by the less than minimum wage workers (assuming that's what they're being paid), so the wage rates may rise. Machines already do much of the work in large and small operations.

We can bring in what we need. We don't have to adjust to a situation created by a certain Party as part of a long term plan to maintain power.
