Awareness of Trump and the GOP's agenda is spiking and the more people know about it the more they seem to dislike it. Just in time for the general election campaign to begin in earnest.

Project 2025 is Increasingly Unpopular
A total of 31 of its contributors served in Trump's presidential administration at various levels, including figures like Peter Navarro and Ben Carson.

Yeah, don't think there will be any effective way for Trump to detach himself from P2025. People know Trump is not honest so the only people he will convince are those who believe he speaks truth.

Trump has already detached himself. He called it extreme.

"Some on the right, the severe right, came up with this Project 2025. You have the radical left and you have the radical right. You read some of the things and they are extreme. They are seriously extreme."

Trump has no connection whatsoever with Project 2025. This is a left-winger myth.

And he called his bill taking health care away from 20+ million Americans "mean" after he threw a Rose Garden party to celebrate its passage in the House.

But sure, other than his team writing Project 2025 he has no connection whatsoever to it!

All decent people should be made to actually read it.

It's terrifying.

Women, buckle up.

Why do you believe Trump? Is it because you tend to believe him in all things?

Trump's proposed health care bill has nothing to do with Project 2025. Just because some of his policies might also be part of Project 2025 does not mean that Trump is connected to it, or endorses it.

Trump has no connection to Project 2025.

I know that Trump is not connected in any way to Project 2025 because he has publicly denounced it - on multiple occasions. Trump has his own plan - it's known as Agenda 47. It's possible that some Project 2025 policies might overlap with Agenda 47, but the bottom line is that Trump is not connected to Project 2025.

Of course it does, his team pulled it together and he already tried to implement some of it before Biden tossed him from the White House. As we know from his prior attempts to take people's health care away, he has no problem rhetorically distancing himself from his awful agenda even as he's trying to implement it. His words mean nothing.

So a known liar should be believed because he publicly denounces something that dozens of members of his past admin authored?

“Trump said…”

The GOP was stupid enough to give all of their unpopular policy desires a convenient label.

Trump's proposed health care bill
Wait, sorry, missed this.

"Proposed health care bill"?

How did that work out the innumerous times he promised a "big beautiful healthcare plan" in the past?

Link?

Lol, except that it matches his own policies.

Unpopular, even among those who support it.

Link?

You mean that one that was so mean the House Freedom Caucus defeated it multiple times?

You're making a false assertion (i.e., Trump is connected to Project 2025) based purely on misinformation and ignorance.

Here's what we know:

1) Trump has publicly denounced Project 2025 - on multiple occasions.
2) Trump has his own plan: Agenda 47

Critical thinking suggests that Trump is NOT connected to Project 2025 because if he WAS, then:

1) Trump would not have publicly denounced it, and
2) It would not be necessary for Trump to make his own plan, Agenda 47.

Critical thinkers would look at Trump's history of lies and not take anything he says as fact unless there is independent verification that comes from a source entirely separated from Trump or his campaign.

Project 2025 = Agenda 47.

Ok, so how do you want to slice this cake?

Shall we start with the Trump officials - Cabinet secretaries, white house officials, senior aides, Trump appointees, etc. that are contributing authors to Mandate for Leadership?

Or do you want to go point by point through Agenda 47 and match Agenda 47 up with points within Project 2025's Mandate for Leadership?

Only after he found out it had leaked and how unpopular it was. He was ready to go until then.
