EU MUST BE JOKING Pro-EU propaganda to be taught in UK schools – and it’ll cost taxpayers £350k
Brussels chiefs want rate-payers to foot the bill for the four year scheme, despite Britain's vote for Brexit
The EU’s permanent London office plan to hold 100 “educational sessions” at a cost of €100.000 per year.
Some of the sessions will take place at the Europe House in Central London, while others will part of a travelling propaganda show in other spots around the country.
The lavish contract will “cover a maximum period of 4 years” — when Britain is due to exit the EU.

Nothing new here, the EU has always spent more than a billion a year on communication, primarily targeted at the youth
There is an organized propaganda at play since decades and its messages are ones you became familiar with: "the EU prevented ww3", the EU made us rich countries", "the crisis would have been worse without the euro", "Europe has always been united, the EU is just resuming the normal situation from Rome, Charlemagne, the HRE, Napoleon (and Hitler)", "we have founding fathers" (and other pale copies of the American myths and institutions)". All non-senses for anyone with historical and economical perspectives.
And there is worse: in the negotiations about the UK, why do you think the EU insists on freedom of movement rather than actual advantages for our economies? Emigration to the UK does not profit us! The only reason is that we want to force our colonialism down your throat in order to shape your public opinion, and because children from mixed couples are more likely to feel like European citizens rather than British citizens.
Would you be similarly outraged if you switched EU with US? Would you be outraged at teaching American students about American citizenship? Might I also remind everyone the referendum is not legally binding and at this point anything can happen.
The USA are a nation, the EU wants to become an empire that confiscates our sovereignty and harms us.Would you be similarly outraged if you switched EU with US? Would you be outraged at teaching American students about American citizenship?
There is no "us": what makes the UK wealthier does not make France wealthier.Freedom of movement is very much of EU economic policy, it allows free movement of talent across Europe. It is not a coincidence that after the Brexit vote the UK suddenly started pushing full-ride Master's degrees to commonwealth citizens.
I do believe the OP clearly stated the EU was far from alone, and if you surf the net you will find a number of publications/statements saying the UK membership of EEC (now EU) was NOT legally binding, which would translate to UK membership being illegal from day one. So, which is true?
I also noted your location to be Canada. The TTIP EU USA trade deal looks to being torpedoed by concerned public, and I believe the same can be said for Canadian EU CETA trade deal for same reasons. What part of those trade deals being made public are true or propaganda?
The conspiracy theory section is further down, you are in the wrong section.
It is important that people in the US, Canada and the European Union, across the land firmly oppose the signing and ratification of The Canada and European Union (EU) Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA).

No one disputes that the CETA is similar to the TTIP and would constitute a backdoor for it. What raised eyebrows is the cryptic question you then asked: "What part of those trade deals being made public are true or propaganda?".I do not do conspiracy theories. They are to hard to prove.

Btw, be careful with globalresearch.ca: it is a part of the Russian propaganda galaxy, with many dubious articles and conspiracy theories, although this one seems fine at first glance.
This is not the first time such propaganda had been attempted by EU, and the EU is far from alone at targeting children with such propaganda. The use of propaganda is far from new, and we all see it on daily basis being reported in newspapers and broadcasted on TV/radio, as they target potential voters.
So, what is the truth? About what? Within courts of law, the law is open to interpretation, and so too is the truth. The relevance being, young minds can be manipulated, and many older minds also.
Have fun with this one. It should make for interesting debate from a metaphysics standpoint, and I am sure everyone will believe they are right in what they post.eace
It's simple, invoke article 50, if the Conservatives have the balls that is. /thread
Propaganda definition:
information, especially of a biased or misleading nature, used to promote a political cause or point of view.
What does that have to do with propaganda?
We voted out of it right? So, let's get out of it and we'll no longer have these kinds of stories to blame on the EU. The deal was Brexit so let's Brexit.
Blame the EU? Did you read the OP? I include the EU. Our own government are equally to blame.

'The document (the report, by French European People's party MEP Jean-Marie Cavada) calls for the school system to be promoted in Britain and other member states so that they can "encourage the emergence of European citizenship from a very young age".
I'm with you, let's get this Brexit thing going as soon as possible so we can be free of this stuff, we can kick out this present government as well if they are condoning it. So there you go, Theresa May isn't solving both problems and the Tories need to go.
But if the Tories go, who have we got to lead the country?
So people are not allowed to learn how the EU and democracy works? I see.. so I am guessing you all are against such studies as well, when it comes to studying how say the UK works, or the US works.. or what ever country it is. Yea let the masses be ignorant buffoons that think the world is flat. Propaganda my ass. If anything it is to deprogram the British masses for the bull**** the anti-EU people have been feeding the British people for decades... which has now been exposed to all its glory with the Brexit. No blaming the EU for all the massive mistakes of local government anymore...
Plus chances are that this money, wont be spent in the UK as the EU will go to limit spending in the UK from now on.. no use throwing good money in a deep dark hole, called the UK.
But if the Tories go, who have we got to lead the country?
