Pro-criminals want Obama to appease illegals.

IF these people were Vermont politicians pushing for lenient laws on child molesters or California politicians pushing for lenient laws on terrorist the media would crucify them.Trying to encourage another country to invade yours by wanting immigration laws pissed on, it doesn't even make a blip.

Hispanic Democrats will have their first West Wing meeting with President Obama on Wednesday morning to discuss immigration reform, according to Democratic sources.

The meeting is the first face-to-face sit-down between Obama and the Congressional Hispanic Caucus (CHC) since the president was sworn in. Some in the CHC have recently expressed frustration that Obama has not talked more about immigration in his first two months in office.

Immigration reform is front-and-center on the group’s agenda.

CHC is eager to hear the president’s ideas and proposals for tackling immigration reform, not only regarding a comprehensive reform bill that could provide a pathway to citizenship for millions of undocumented workers but also as it relates to rolling back Bush administration policies of raiding workplaces and detaining and deporting thousands of illegal workers.

I would argue, based on your obviously angry reaction and the furious reactions of many other people, that it does make a blip. There are many people angry and upset by Polosi's actions. I understand your feelings about illegal immigration, but I think it's unfair to liken illegal immigrants to child molesters and other types of criminals who commit horrible crimes again fellow human beings. The majority of these immigrants are taking jobs that were previously either non-existent or vacant. They are not here to "invade" or commit criminal acts against U.S. citizens. The situations that force them out of their own countries need to be taken into consideration, as well.

To call these democrats "pro-criminal" is ridiculous -- they are not pushing for an abolishment of immigration laws, but rather a reform on the inhumane practices that the US is currently using with its illegal immigrants.

IF you commit a misdemeanor or felony you are a criminal.Politicians should not encourage criminal behavior regardless of the the degree of criminal behavior.

Americans did those jobs before illegals did. The reason why some Americans do not do those jobs is because Americans can demand fair wages and benefits, someone who is not here legally is in no position to demand those things.Also scum will not hire legal workers when they can hire illegals for the fraction of the price they would legal workers.

20 million plus people who are illegally in this country most of whom are from Mexico. Several million people entering another country illegally and staying there is an invasion.An intrusion or encroachment is defined as an invasion .

Illegal immigration is a misdemeanor the first offense and punishable with fines and up to 6 months in jail. The second offense is a felony punishable with fines and up to two years in prison. So yes these politicians are pro-criminals and its not just democrats there are also some republicans who are pro-criminals.
