Rich Lowery states a very basic truth about what lesson should be learned from the Brown shooting and Andrea Mitchell's reaction really says it all about how completely out of touch with reality the liberal media is.
Lesson?

Us liberals / libertarians don't believe in the police state, where there's an ever pervasive threat to your life if you disobey a government official.

Good Lord... What happened in Furguson and the lessons Lowery laid out perfectly match.

Look at the fact for Christ's sake.

Ferguson.

The problem with you conservatives is that "big government" seems to only be defined as the taxman at your door, but not the trigger-happy, taxpayer funded cop that put another person dead in the ground for cigarillos and rosy-cheeks.

That is pure nonsensical BS. He's dead because he physically attacked a police officer and refused to back down.

Lying to justify your ideology, simply proves your ideology is nothing by a lie.

I think that you are confused here. She said nothing.

Where in my op, did I ever claim she did?

I said her "REACTION" said it all... Are you not familiar with that expression?

I am also familiar with people seeing what they want to see. Mitchell is bit of a teleprompter agenda mouthpiece, but in this case, I would need to see the next ten seconds to even know what her reaction was about. It could have been about him dragging Ferguson into the discussion on race. Don't know.

That doesn't make any sense at all.

I agree with you that the example he used, or rather, using the Brown shooting as the example, is a poor choice.

But in general his comments are pretty much right on the money.

The problem with many liberals is that wailing on a Police Officers face while they are carrying out their duty is perfectly acceptable, and most certainly something that should be excluded from any discussion.

Remarkable.

Her reaction was directly related to what Lowery said... It was one of opposition and disbelief, which proves just how out of touch with reality the woman is.

No, they are not "on the money". They were a fantasy that have no basis in the reality of what took place.

I didn't know that it was the "duty" of government to act as a literal executioner of its citizens, without judge or jury.

You're not paying attention.

I agreed with you that using the Brown shooting as an example of his larger point was a bad move.

But using a bad example doesn't invalidate his point at all.

Give me the other 10 seconds and I will agree or disagree with you. Until then, you see what you want to see and I will not reach a conclusion one way or the other.

His point?

You mean where he implied that being a conservative who is in favor of a smaller federal government who supports a police officer who defended himself when he was physically attacked by a robbery suspect, is somehow contradictory?

Her reaction was one of disbelief... She obviously disagreed with his statement, meaning she has adopted an alternate reality of what took place that day.

Well, a few punches to the face of a police officer carrying out his duty appears to speed up the verdict, doesn't it?

Rational, objective people understand this fundamental truth without delving into police state paranoia.

Her reaction said nothing. She wanted to say something, but didn't.

I agree with Lowery BTW.

The problem with you liberal libertarians is that your minds go blank when reminded of the differences between local, state and federal government. Police are hired and controlled by local government, the most responsive to the people.

Yes, she disagreed with Lowery's statement, but his statement implied officer Wilson knew he Brown was a suspect in a robbery, but he did not know that at the time of the shooting.

Ferguson chief: Officer didn't know about robbery

So Lowery is wrong and you should rob a store and assault a police officer then... Why don't you tell me what lesson in your mind should be taken from this?

She was laughing at what he said and wanted to interupt him... You can't see that?
