Not sure where to go with this thread, but here's the basic idea:

Fictional P's-OTUS; how they are portrayed in movies.

Discuss.


For example, some movies try to stay contemporary and realistic and have the movie president be very similar to the real president at the time, while others will have some wildly different character as president - either a super-good and beloved ideal president or a super-evil villain president.

Which do you prefer? Which movies have had good fictional presidents?

That sort of thing.

if you have seen "Love Actually" I was rather displeased with the portrayal of the president by Billy Bob Thornton. he seemed to have every bad quality.
 
I haven't seen Love Actually, but I did recently see the fairly recent Get Smart movie starring Steve Carrell.

It was obvious they were taking digs at G.W. Bush in that one. :mrgreen:
