Almost all of that is stuff the Office of President has no direct influence. They shouldn't be getting credit (or blame, as appropriate) for them, even though we like to do so.Consider, at the end of his term, corporate profits were at historically record highs, compared to the beginning of his term when they were in the greatest recession in our nation's history, the country's was adding 200,000 jobs per month, for a total of over 15 million new jobs during his tenure, unemployment below 5%, wages rising, the U.S. gross national product growth the best of all Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) countries on the planet.
The dollar was at its strongest levels in years, the stock market at near record highs, gasoline prices falling, no inflation, interest rates the lowest in 30 years, U.S. oil imports declining, U.S. oil production rapidly increasing, the deficit rapidly declining, and the wealthy still making astonishing amounts of money.
America leading the world once again and respected internationally — in sharp contrast to the Bush years.
All this with a congress whose sole declared mission was to obstruct and make him look bad. In the depths of the recession, when he was pleading with congress to invest in infrastructure jobs, they said this was government overreach, unconstitutional, and Marxist tyranny. Now they can't fall over each other fast enough to invest in infrastructure. Too little, too late, guys. We fixed it without you (or, in fact, in spite of you).
This was the "disaster of the Obama economy". And now Trump wants to fix it? LOL.

Yes. Prosperity that only lifted some boats. Mostlly rich liberals, elites, and illegals while driving the middle class down also creating a historically high part time workforce.

off the top of my head, add:
DACA
Killed Osama bin Laden
Repealed don't ask, don't tell

The aca is meh.
I give him full credit for giving the go-ahead to kill bin Laden. His foreign policy was about to turn into a major success but then he started listening to the establishment bureaucrats and then hs FP turned to ****. He gets half credit for taking out Gaddaffi. Gaddaffi was an asshole who needed to pay for what happened at Lockerbie. Obama's Libya planning was bungled so hardcore and was an albatross around his admin's neck. Obama also unnecessarily decided to approve of trying to overthrow Assad. In addition to having no economic or strategic interests, it also emboldened terrorists and we in fact armed and trained terrorists. It took our eye off the prize on defeating ISIS.
This is why I find it so bizarre that Obama is currently being rated highly by historians. He doesn't have much in the way of successes he can point to, and his potential successes were bungled because he listened to establishment bureaucrats. It's almost sad.
I'm having so much trouble coming up with successes. His domestic agenda was mediocre and his foreign policy overall was terrible. I'll have to look up his wiki because I want to be fair.
I don't approve of DACA.
bin Laden was my #2
Good call on repealing DADT. That was dumb to begin with, but I suppose it had to be a natural step to get it eventually done.

I will never understand why an educated, polished and well behaved black man frightened so many conservatives. He performed the job with dignity (unlike the circus clown that they now love so much). His morality and character are so far above Trumps that it cant even be measured, yet to the right wingers, he is the devil re-incarnated.
It couldn't be a race issue because as one poster already told me, race had absolutely nothing to do with it. We don't have any race issues in this country.
Race is simply not a factor. Its just a coincidence that conservatives no longer care about debt, deficits, cost of presidential vacations, subsidies for healthcare and acting presidential. If only they went back to not caring about mandates, republicans could come up with an Obamacare replacement.
Yes, it couldn't be race. How unrealistic for me to suggest such a thing. I will take the yapping "left" over the hypocrisy of the "right" any day of the week.
I cant help but chuckle when the conservatives go "nuts" when current FLOTUS gets unflattering comments about her plagiarism and thick accent. Yet, these same folks though it funny that former FLOTUS was referred to as "an ape in heels".
