Looking through the list one thing struck me, most of the poorest states which also happen to be controlled by republicans and have been for decades, give trump the highest approval ratings but don't tell them they are voting against their own best interests.

North Carolina 47%. That's interesting. North Carolina could go blue. William Barber and his Moral Mondays seem to be a factor.
 
It's surprising to me how low he's polling in states where you'd expect him to be popular.

He seems to have failed to read the room.
 
They vote against your interest.
So being dirt poor is in their best interests by voting against mine? My interests center much more on the working person even though I'm retired. What do right to work states offer their workers versus a union job?
