President Donald Trump threatened to rename the Department of Defense without obtaining permission from Congress, even if it would run afoul of the law.

At an Oval Office event on Monday, Trump said he would "probably" rename the Pentagon to the Department of War in the coming days.

Once again, the orange child-rapist/traitor is threatening to break the law.

He needs to be removed. All GQP scum that help him need to be removed and they need to lose the right to hold public office, have professional licensure, work in law enforcement, military service (civilian or otherwise), or practice law.

ALL OF THEM ever last MAGA scumbag needs to be prevented from any form of meaningful public service for the rest of their lives. Treason is expensive and they need to be forced to pay the price.

It should be called the Department of Peace.

Peace is the goal.

The 'Pentagon' is a building complex.

Will we get The Department of the Navy back too?

Department of Covfefe

The 'Pentagon' is a building complex.
Five floors above ground and two floors underground.

Five sides of course. Main entrance is the Potomac River Entrance

For anyone who might want to write to Hegseth The Horrible about this newest atrocity:
The Pentagon
Richmond Highway

There's a long standing federal law that prohibits any building being more than 8 stories. This is so monuments and memorial features do not become obscured or blocked out by tall urban buildings. You look up and down PA Ave and Constitution Ave next over to it and no building is higher. One time at a friend's 8th floor apartment in lower Northwest at night she took me to a window with a clear view of the illuminated Capitol a couple of miles away and above rooves at the same six story height -- I can still picture that great view.

Standing on Whipple Field at Ft. Myer, Arlington Heights up over the Potomac, one has a clear view of the city center and monuments including out to the Capitol on its Hill.

After the Army I lived on the 8th floor in a new coop of 4 buildings in Southwest DC at the Washington Marina and where my side of my building had a clear view of the Capitol to my right, all the monuments and memorials and to my left across to Arlington Cemetery. This was also two blocks from the main gate of Ft. McNair where I went to jog on their course, having marched on their awful parade field several times in addition to attending numerous sit down training and planning sessions in their MDW HQ Bldg.

The downside to living in SW DC is Reagan National Airport is right across the river and it let me know each time a plane took off -- which was by the minute. No planes allowed after 10 pm though, which used to be starting at midnight that finally got changed to 10p after we hollered at 'em loud enough and long enough. One time my arriving plane got diverted to Baltimore-Washington International on the DC (west) side of Baltimore cause we were so late. I called the gf asleep in my bed to come out and pick me up but she said the walk would be good for me.
