It's just beyond the pale when you have the president thinking it's ok to send people to foreign prisons without charge for a violation which is a misdemeanor in this country, yet this same plonker thinks 2 felony counts carry too stiff a sentence. Can you point to where Trump said Santos was in prison because of Biden's corrupt DOJ? I don't see Biden or his DOJ mentioned, but somehow Blumenthal made it in there in some weird rant that equates the non criminal act of lying about serving in Vietnam to 2 felony convictions. The chef's kiss of stupidity here was saying that despite Santos defrauding people and committing identity theft, he voted Republican. I guess the party of "law and order" has lower standards now.

What the hell is wrong with Americans that support such unlawful actions by Donald Trump. He is releasing monsters back into our cities. Trump granted pardons to several U.S. service members accused or convicted of war crimes, including former Army officers who murdered civilians! He pardoned Jan 6 criminals who got out of prison and committed crimes, some of the crimes were absolutely heinous! Wake up MAGA for God's sake and the sake of this country! Trump pardoned these men because he KNOWS that these men would murder their grandmother in his name, so your life, or mine, would be like swatting a fly to them.

Edward Kelley, pardoned for riot participation, received a life sentence for plotting a "civil war" and targeting FBI agents.

Brent John Holdridge, who pleaded guilty to picketing in the Capitol, was arrested for stealing thousands of dollars in copper wire and faces burglary and grand theft charges.

Zachary Alam, sentenced for his role in the insurrection, was rearrested in May 2025 for an alleged home invasion and theft after receiving a pardon.

Matthew Huttle, pardoned days earlier, was fatally shot during an altercation with an Indiana sheriff's deputy in April 2025; police reported he had a firearm.

Daniel Ball's January 6 charges were dismissed after the pardon, but he was rearrested on pre-existing Florida gun charges.
