Let us remember today and every day, the Yazidi girls still not returned to their mothers and those who face danger and death every time they enter a church in Egypt, Indonesia, and elsewhere while we are safe and free to worship where and as we please. Even owning a Bible is dangerous in Uzbekistan and Libya and elsewhere, and in North Korea it can mean torture and death.

So I ask for prayers for all today, including our Muslim brothers and sisters who are being imprisoned and tortured in China. Most of us are so blessed just to be able to freely worship...or not.

Let there be peace on earth, and let it begin with each one of us.

And be thankful for what you have in life.

More importantly, be thankful for who you have in your life. Never let a day go by that you don’t let that person know how much you love them. How much they mean to you.

Never miss this opportunity.
