Crimea was never ruled by Ukraine. It was only attached to it as an autonomous state for, a few decades, when it was part of the USSR and it didn't matter. They are all ethnic Russians speaking Russian and voted to join with Russia.
It was part of Russia for hundreds of years.
So was the rest of the Ukraine, the Russian empire was born in Kiev. Does that mean to you Ukraine should be part of Russia? Crimea legitimately voted to leave in 1991 but the most recent election was just a sham without any observers, not to mention it was done under military occupation.
What military occupation? The large naval base that has always been there? If you think the current western Ukrainian government has any legitimacy then there are some problems here as there was definite foreign influence in that sham of a revolution and then the sham elections they pulled off after it while eastern Ukraine was under siege so you can spare me the legitimacy complaint.
... who backed the Russian invasions of Ukraine in 2014.
If Russia in 2014 invaded the Ukraine, why it forces has not been found so far?

Vladimir Putin admitted to deploying Russian military specialists to eastern Ukraine on Thursday, dropping nearly two years of denials that Russian servicemen were involved in the conflict there
Putinista propaganda won't work here at DP.

The Russians left their base and took over the entirety of the Crimea. The entire election was done under military occupation by a well known authoritarian dictatorship that itself does not hold legitimate elections, without any observers. It is like Hitler's annexation of Austria. The Ukrainian government did what it had to do, it cannot just have no government until the entire issue is resolved.
Russia is going to try to take the entire Middle East
the russians dropped twice as many bombs as the US but the US is more focused on stabilizing Iraq because they don't like the assad regime
Their "President" is a KGB agent and in bed with the Russian Mob, speaks volumes about those Russians.
Russia had permission to fly over Syria...the US did not.

If you look at it, all bombs are barrels.
I think it was a UN resolution.
