Seems rather clunky. Or am I missing something?..
Though no real biggie, buts seems could be a bit easier.

I always auto-watch when I comment and have a habit of just letting them pile up.
Go to do a cleanup(50 pages), and it's either start at page 1, select the ones I want to stop watching and GO. Now page 1 is a mix again of keepers and non-keepers. Select 'stop watching', click desired, GO. Repeat...

Or I start at page 50, select all, GO. Page 50 still shows with no results until I click 3 dots and punch in 49. Select all, GO. Then 49 still shows, until.... Rinse and repeat.
Selecting across multiple pages would be good, but doesn't seem to work. Though I can see why software just doesnt allow to select from multiple at once.

Am I just missing an easier way to clean up many pages of watched threads?

Right.
Now, should someone select 'Unwatch thread', are the notifications about that thread stopped?
I didn't think so, but maybe it should?
Yes. When you unwatch a thread, your notifications stop unless someone quotes or tags you.

Why are you 'cleaning'? I have 344 pages. The ones that have new posts stay on the top, the old ones just get buried.

Actually upon cleanup, I find several pages back where there was posts on certain threads that were just a post, not a reply to me, of which got pushed back and I never saw.
Though thought somewhere in settings I had seen something about making all watched pile up at the beginning if there were posts you hadn't viewed yet, but not seeing it.

And now after mostly cleaned up, page 5 still shows with no results until I visit page 4, even after refreshing or visiting other threads. That just seems odd. If it's empty, seems it should just go away.

Again, not a life altering occurrence, but why?! 😂

OK. Exactly what I'm seeing. Doesn't sound like it's likely to change any.
Hey, Thanks Red. (y)
