Interesting as just an example of 'politics in action'. A state practicing democracy more than most, California, has the legislature interested banning ultra-processed foods for students.
Seems like a great idea. They're having dozens of groups/industry groups oppose them. They listen, they make compromises. Some of the opposition is coming from ethnic organizations about foods they don't want banned.
