So what is the point in all this?....I don't get it.

A queer was arrested, they took away his ID card. He won't be allowed to partake in some upcomeing Gay Event.

OK......So the queer is upset?

If that is the case....I shure will not be loosing sleep over his feelings.

He's a political prisoner of the Castro regime. That's OK with you because he's gay?

Well shure, because in Cuba their goverment don't tolorate sick, un-normal homosexuals.
I would imagin a whole lot of those type are executed, and all done in secret.

Oh well.....Hey, if you or anyone has a problem with their customs and laws. Go there and tell them.

I won't hold you back.

"Shure" is a brand of microphone. Just saying.

Congrats. You are the very first Conservative I've ever seen like the actions of a Communist government.

Cuba is a dictatorship. Yes, we all knew that.
Apparently, Cuba's dictators don't like gays.

So, what conclusion do we draw from that?

The medical student Rafael Chávez González, winner of Mr. Gay-Habana 2009, was arrested and questioned. He said that the State Security told him “If you are interested in finishing your medical career, take into consideration that all Cuban doctors to be committed to the revolution and they had to have an unwavering revolutionary consciousness, and that they would never allow a medical student to support the Cuban counterrevolution.” He was told to publicly denounce the contest. He was expelled from the medical faculty of Havana University, in violation of his rights, as reprisal for his participation in the competition.

After 51 years, the Castro brothers’ dictatorship has yet to get over its hang-ups over Cubans, gay or straight, expressing themselves.

You seem completely obsessed with Cuba. Every single post you make seems to be about Cuba.

Why?

What do you care what other people do? It is none of your business.

Isn't that what this thread was about to begin with?

Americans find Cuba fascinating. It's probably the last Communist nation on Earth, and just 90 miles from our coast. There is a large Cuban American community here, most of whom despise Castro and what he stands for. Our refusal to recognize the Castro government and open trade with that nation has to be the last vestige of the cold war. Moreover, few Americans have been there, those who have did so despite visits there being forbidden, so it is a land of mystery to most of us.
