Police confiscates ID card of Aliomar Janjaque
http://www.cubanet.org/CNews/year2010/agosto2010/19_N_1.html
Last Tuesday, August 17, four agents of State Security, undercover and dressed in civilian clothes, confiscated Aliomar Janjaque Chivaz ID card, 34 years of age, leader of the Cuban Foundation LGTB Reinaldo Arenas, unrecognized by the state, that fights for the recognition of the rights of that community.
Janjaque told how he was in the area of Cerro, in this city, when a police agent asked him to identify himself, showing his ID card. Immediately, the official called for a patrol car in which two police officials arrived. Janjaque wasn't taken to a Police Station, but they took him in the patrol directly to Villa Marista (Villa Marista is a prison in Havana, Cuba, notorious for its detention of political prisoners by the Cuban national security agency).
Respectively, Janjaque said to this reporter: One of them called me "counterrevolutionary s_hit" and another, "counterrevolutionary bitch." They also told me that they were taking my ID away so that I wouldn't be able to go out in the street anymore and that I was surrounded by the provincial PNR (National Revolutionary Police). They also told me that they wouldn't permit the production of the Mr. Gay 2010 Contest, "no matter what the cost."
The Mr. Gay competition is an annual event, sponsored by the organization that preside Janjaque, in which young homosexuals participate. Last year the authorities tried to prevent its realization, harassing and arresting the organizers.
Aliomar Janjaque is a homosexual black Cuban, born in the island. He is the president of the Foundation LGTB Reinaldo Arenas, an association considered counterrevolutionary by the Castros regime.
So what is the point in all this?....I don't get it.
A queer was arrested, they took away his ID card. He won't be allowed to partake in some upcomeing Gay Event.
OK......So the queer is upset?
If that is the case....I shure will not be loosing sleep over his feelings.
He's a political prisoner of the Castro regime. That's OK with you because he's gay?
OK...So the queer is a political prisoner.
Well shure, because in Cuba their goverment don't tolorate sick, un-normal homosexuals.
I would imagin a whole lot of those type are executed, and all done in secret.
Oh well.....Hey, if you or anyone has a problem with their customs and laws. Go there and tell them.
I won't hold you back.
Cuba is a dictatorship. Yes, we all knew that.
Apparently, Cuba's dictators don't like gays.
So, what conclusion do we draw from that?
OK...Let's see.
YEP!!....That's the one good thing about their goverment.
After 51 years, the Castro brothers’ dictatorship has yet to get over its hang-ups over Cubans, gay or straight, expressing themselves.
What do you care what other people do? It is none of your business. You seem completely obsessed with Cuba. Every single post you make seems to be about Cuba.
