Please be sure to show how those new gun laws would not violate the 2nd amendment.
Not surprisingly, I agree with this.Well, I'd like a law that mandates the use of the Eddie Eagle course in Kindergarten. Wouldn't mind having a mandatory semester of marksmanship and maintenance in high school, either.
Can't say that either measure would reduce gun crime, but they'd certainly reduce gun accidents, including the deaths of innocent bystanders.
My gun law is simple.
No citizen will bitch about how many or what kind of guns I have,
Must be a high school graduate, or at least pass the GED. We already have too many mouth breathing white supremist wannabes spending their days stroking their junk over guns...
An open carry law. Citizens should be allowed to carry firearms openly (with obvious exceptions for places such as schools and the courthouse, and anywhere a member of Congress is giving a speech).Tell me what additional law would you like. And how will it reduce gun crime.
Must be a high school graduate, or at least pass the GED.
One HAS to wonder how these two thoughts are related...We already have too many mouth breathing white supremist wannabes spending their days stroking their junk over guns...
The first sentence is prohibited by the second amendment. The second sentence is just bigoted blather.Must be a high school graduate, or at least pass the GED. We already have too many mouth breathing white supremist wannabes spending their days stroking their junk over guns...
Wouldn't that violate the first amendment?
I agree that straw purchasing needs to be more aggressivly prosecuted.1) Straw purchasing needs to be cracked down upon. Its already a crime, but I would suggest upgrading the sentence if the gun is actually used in the commission of a crime. Knowingly selling a firearm to straw purchaser also needs to be a crime. A add campaign explaining the consequences of straw purchasing might also be useful
Its probably hard to do, however, as you have to show that the purchaser was asked to buy a gun by someone he knew could not legally buy a gun.
I don't see any second amendment issues. Criminals can be denied the right to bear arms, so banning giving them weapons is acceptable. The second is okay because the constitution makes no mention engaging in the arms trade without oversight. Individuals are even affected.
That is a second amendment issue. That whole bit about "shall not be infringed."
There is no 2nd amendment issue regarding banning criminals from owning/using/buying guns, as any/all rights can be removed through due process. That is a second amendment issue. That whole bit about "shall not be infringed."

I rest my case....check it out, dud, the tatooed skin heads whitey racists are the most likely to be uneducated and susceptible to far right wing extemist propaganda, and the violence that follows....
Likewise punkass gangs of other ethnic backgrounds.
The SCOTUS has already restricted convicted felons from owning guns, it isn't much of a stretch to restrict ownership by members of gangs who are just a bunch of ignorant sheeple...:2wave:
