Using the COVID-19 pandemic to score political points is dangerous and will only result in "many more body bags," World Health Organization Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said Wednesday, less than a day after President Trump criticized the WHO and its relationship with China. Tedros also revealed he has received death threats in recent months.

"Please don't politicize this virus," Tedros said in a briefing in Geneva, after he was asked about Trump's remarks. He later urged political leaders to "please quarantine politicizing COVID."

"The focus of all political parties should be to save their people," Tedros said. He added that politicizing the virus only exploits differences at the national level.

Trump will try to scapegoat any organization whether it's the CDC or the W.H.O. He will always find someone else to blame, he can never accept it himself.
 

Trump isn't the first one to complain about the WHO and their mistakes. But you can be sure that Trump will look closely at whether the US is spending its money wisely by financing that organization.
 
The WHO politicized things by backing China and using their position within the UN to shield the Chinese Communist party and propagate their own propaganda. It was the same WHO that took China at its word and said there was no human to human transmission and that travel bans would not be appropriate in terms of stemming the virus.

The WHO did the bidding of the Chinese Communist Party and put their agenda ahead of actual global public health. The WHO must be held accountable and the CCP confronted regarding their missteps.
 
The World Health Organization already made a political mess of this all on their own thanks to their handling of China, hypocritical of them to complain about it now.

They are not a "scapegoat." The WHO failed in their responsibility to properly research the virus and took a lying fascist government at its word and then engaged in obsequious praise of the fascist government, and spread the CCP's misinformation and lies. Just like Donald Trump failed in his responsibility by not adequately resupplying the strategic national stockpile once virus was on his radar, the WHO failed initially in their due diligence.
