Lowering the deficit 1/4 trillion per year is not a "balanced approach" at all considering that it still leaves us about a trillion per year in the red. I would describe it as somewhere between kicking the can down the road and doing nothing at all.

I hope this marks a rebellion by the House Conservatives. I hope this means the end of Boehner and Cantor.

Capitulation in the presence of evil is never a good idea. Boehner would have been better of if he had gone to see Nancy Pelosi and borrowed one of her balls.

We do not want all sides of government colluding against the American people. We do want to stop the spreading Obama tyranny from spreading.

We need to begin defunding the left. We need to begin defunding the extra-constitutional agencies. We need to begin sending people home from the massive, dangerous government administrative apparatus. We cannot do any of that as long as an establishment Republican has a position of power in the House leadership.

Did you think that I want to get along with tyrants? Tyrants deserve what they get.

No. I want to preserve the nation and our liberty. That means I oppose the half of you who voted for the tyrant. He, and you, must be stopped. This is the brilliance of the founders and of our founding. Government is intentionally divided to prevent Obama from running roughshod over the nation once he is figured out.

I am for complete polarization. I hope what's his name in the White House fails at everything he tries to do to us.

You had your chance to stop the "spreading of Obama tyranny" only to find out you are in a minority position on this. The election is over; the people have spoken. Obama won!

Its time for those on the right to stop pouting and deal with reality. Its time for doing the "people's business", not the business of the conservatives. Its time for governance and for compromise.

The consequence of the election is that political outcomes get to start left-center and be compromised to the center. They do not get to be right-center solutions.

Uh, NEWS FLASH...

The Founding Fathers were never in favor of polarization, deadlock and intentional undercutting of the business of govt. The Constitution was a document created from compromise, this is the most fundamental point you have forgotten, but then that is what always happens to extremists.

Granted. the Marxist is still the president. However, the people have spoken. They kept the House of Representatives solidly in Republican hands. They and they alone can stop Obama's spreading tyranny.

I am all for compromise. So let's compromise on how we can reduce government spending. We can begin by eliminating Obamaphones for Obamavoters. We can begin with real cuts on every extra-constitutional agency and department. We can begin by repealing every regulation promulgated in the last five years. We can completely repeal Obamacare. Every one of those compromises work for me.

The Constitution's brilliance is in how it divided up political power to prevent Obama from tyrannizing all of us. It is the tyrant and the tyrant's supporters who are extreme. You guys are temporary. You do not have the right to destroy the nation.

Obama is a tyrant. You are his supporter.

I cannot recall ever saying you are national socialists but he is Marxist in his upbringing and in rhetoric. He is doing what he can to wreck capital formation which is the centerpiece of Marxism. You are his supporter.
