Pet Training Question

Dare I ask?

Sure. It stand for Bones and Raw Food Its categorized as the Evolutionary diet. It looks a little complicated at the outset but is actually very simple.

We feed our dog,

Chicken/lamb/tripe/beef/rabbit/organ meat/oily fish and veg. It all has to be RAW this can be in many shapes and forms and i add including the BONES, yes include the Bones [only ever RAW]. Ask yourself would a wild animal eat all the meat and leave the carcass and bones? Not a chance they eat the lot.

If the dog is smart you can show him with your hand how to break the surface of the ice. It could be that he doesn't know how, or that the ice and water is too cold for his mouth and body. Animals won't eat cold things if they are trying to conserve heat.

Lord! I've been screaming "NO" at the top of my lungs, standing up and thrashing about for a decade!

This dog in a loving, fun filled spawn of Hell!

That's what you are doing wrong, screaming. Dogs only respect calm assertive pack leaders. Since they don't speak english, they read your energy and body language.

Amusing anecdote:
When Spooky was half grown we were living in an apartment near a fishing lodge. For some reason he went off his feed.

this went on for a few days and i was getting really concerned that he was almost entirely ignoring his food. Oddly though, he seemed to be thriving and showed no signs of getting weak or being ill.

One afternoon I laid down for a nap, lying on my side with my face right on the edge of the bed. Spooky waked up, opened his mouth wide and exhaled in my face.

The aroma of dog breath and decomposing fish scraps filled, encompassed and seared my consciousness.

It seems that he had discovered the fish cleaning station and decided it was an all-you-can eat buffet.
