He'll be devastated when he finds out.
He's a ****ing hypocrite, like most gun hating Hollywood types. Looks like you're here to support the hypocrites. Carry on.
Acting is hypocritical by definition. Sammy Sheik was the guy who played "Mustafa" a sniper working for Al Qaeda in the film "American Sniper." Do you think it would be hypocritical of him to condemn Terrorism? After all, he was paid to portrayed to be one in a movie, right?
Hopefully other gun companies follow suit and they do the same with other anti-2nd amendment Hollywood actors.
Before some anti-2nd amendment trash makes a comparison of Liam Neeson's hypocrosy to Breaking bad. They should remember that Bryan Cranston is playing a scumbag drug dealer and meth maker who dies while Liam Neeson on the other hand is using guns to save the day.

The "Taken" franchise is worn out, he won't need them anymore, whoever they are. Still. it gives the poor darlings some publicity, and a few die-hards will buy their guns in sympathy. He made the comment when someone suggested that movies caused violence, and he disagreed. Do you believe movies cause more violence than guns?
You really think that's equivalent. He made a violent movie; he made money on a violent movie. He got paid to hold a gun in his hand, and then for someone like that (who got pimped to carry a weapon) to then rage against the 2nd Amendment is hypocritical. Actually what he does is worse, he's selling the violence that the 2nd Amendment has nothing to do with.

The comparison is more than equivalent. Both Liam Neeson and Sammy Sheik both played roles in a violent movie, both made money on a violent movie and both got paid to hold a gun in their hand. The only difference between the two is that Liam Neeson is wildly more famous than Sammy Sheik. They're both portrayed to play violent characters, that's just the business they signed up for when they took on acting. Just because you play a character who's a gun-toting cowboy you don't actually have to be a gun-toting cowboy. Neeson is more than entitled to his opinion on the Second Amendment and to call him a hypocrite because he condemns violence while at the same time portraying a character in a violent movie is absurd.
If you want to call Neeson a hypocrite for his comments about gun violence. Wait until he shoots somebody else.
If the West ever needs to invade Albania, all they have to do is turn to Liam Neeson since he can kill hundreds without breaking a sweat. :2razz:That's what you get when you "fight off all these Albanians," Neesen! :censored
All respect to Mr. Neeson, but abortion, prescriptionless contraception (acquiring condoms is still scandalous) and no-fault divorce* join guns in the list of human rights denied to the civilian population. Remember that the Catholic Church holds significant influence over Ireland's government. I think growing up under such an overbearing government shades Mr. Neeson's view on private gun ownership more than a little. Not taking sides here, just trying to add a bit of perspective. I think it is important to keep in mind that Mr. Neeson comes from a country where firearms ownership is heavily restricted almost exclusively to hunting long arms (primarily shotguns) and the rate of personal firearms ownership is quite low. Coming from a culture like that to the U.S. where personal firearms ownership is fairly common as are mass school shootings, which in the last decade are becoming all too common (I hate to use the term routine) has to be an enigma. I don't think his response is at all un-natural for a person coming at the issue from that perspective.

Most violent crime in the US, to include most gun crime, occurs in cities with populations of 250K and larger. How many cities of 250K+ does Ireland have?

Russian authorities have legalized the carrying of firearms for self-defenseThe idea that more guns makes people safer is a uniquely American one that you will be hard pressed to find shared by people in the rest of the world.

Obviously the Secret Service doesn't need firearms either, then. Why do all heads of state have armed security? Just saying.
