Who's planning on watching?

*raises hand*

I'll watch if there isn't any professional wrestling on at the same time.

I am watching .... she seems less compelling than at the Republcian convention.

Is it just me? What do all y'all think about her speech so far?

How's it going? I have a new TV and I get about 1800 ****ing channels so by the time I find it it'll be over. Right now I'm watching Home and Garden TV because I can't figure out the damn remote.

LOL !!!! She got cookin' when she was going after Joe Biden and his transparency meetings. I am tuning in and out currently, she was losing me again.

She's talking about tort reform now.

She just doesn't seem as 'on' as I remember from the campaign.

******* Well this speech should make Good Copy for Olberman as he starts to wind down at MSNBC. Just looking at his face lately makes things rather obvious.

How about an on-topic comment, asterisk?

What do you think about the speech? Are you watching it?

****** It applies - I know what's coming with that SOB.

No it doesn't. Go start an Olbermann sucks thread and whine over there.

This one's about Palin's speech - which is going on right now.

Standing O .... for Reagan, I think? I was distracted by cool pub pics in the basement.

The End.

What did other people think?

Oh, wait, not the end. Q&A now with discussion leader.

I liked it. She rocks.

She is answering questions right now.

Did you think she was as good as during the campaign? I thought she was less good, during the speech part.

She's doing better w/ the Q&A part.

So I'm assuming they'll be a transcript somewhere soon enough. Was there substance or was it just "liberals are bad"?

That was in there  And 'good' parts of America too :2razz:

But, it's mostly about what do tea partiers want, and what is palin for?

"The Palin Plan" ... my ears perked up, but it was pretty much My plan is simple, the elititists mock it, but I am for good, patriotic Americans, it's just that simple. etc

mmmmm .... "Run, Sarah, Run!" ?

not so sure about that for a chant. Too much like, Run, Forrest, RUN!

Three words that delight Liberals: “Presidential Nominee Pailin.”

You go, girl!

I liked it when she started rubbing her leg.

She just addressed media controversy about the convention, apologized if she was part of the reason for the controversy. She also said she'd give any speaking fee to the cause, and she was proud to be part of it.

Hmmm, the guy who was asking her questions just said they had more questions they wanted to ask, but they were getting cues from the side that Gov Palin had to leave b/c her sched was too tight.

Oh, right, she's going to be on Fox News Sunday tomorrow, so she probably has to leave b/c of that. It is late, not sure if she has to fly back to NY, or if Wallace is going to be in Nashville.
