What is all this about a teleprompter and Palin?

She said...

“There Ohio was right out in front, right in front of me. The teleprompter got messed up, I couldn’t follow it, and I just decided I’d just talk to the people in front of me, it was Ohio.” Sarah Palin

He said...

"Perhaps there were moments where it scrolled slightly past her exact point in the speech. But I was sitting in the press section next to the stage, within easy eyeshot of the teleprompter. I frequently looked up at the machine, and there was no serious malfunction. A top convention planner confirms this morning that there were no major problems." Jonathan Martin

He said, she said...

:roll::spin::roll:

oh my! now this is the kind of stuff that i could decide my vote on!

Why would she need to lie? She gave a perfect speech. I think the libs are upset that the women of America are in love with Todd Palin.

It does start to matter when so many lies start to add up.
Everything about her so far is a distortion of the truth aside from a few details about babies and moose.

All Politicians lie and distort the truth.
But its not the lying itself that is the big issue here.
The big issue is the fact we know little to nothing about her and what we do know are mostly lies.

She lies so much that she is becoming immune to being busted.
Obama got more attention just because he used a teleprompter.
And Palin essentially has got off scott free for lying in a speech about one.

A large group of the Press core was watching the teleprompter at the time she says it malfunctioned.

Who the **** cares if they use a teleprompter.

Seriously there are like three threads about teleprompters its starting to get on my nerves!

You know, John, a while ago I started a thread about how McCain had lied about which starting offensive line he gave to the North Koreans when he was in Pittsburgh (he said the Steelers, who were awful at that time). This is after he put it in his book that it was the Packers. People told me it was a non-issue. People told me I was being a hack. I made the point that if he was willing to lie about something as unimportant as that, what else would he lie about? He has lied about how many people attend his rallies, what he means by "fundamentally stong" with regards to the economy, and the lack of mutual town hall meetings is what has McCain lieing.

I know, the lying is very intense.
Theres at least 40 seperate items from the both of them.
It has even rattled Carl Rove lol.

I hope they keep doing it just a little longer. Because its about to completely blow up in their faces.
Republicans will only defend things they secretly know to be BS for so long because they lose motivation.

My largest fear was that McCain would use a TV add in the final week with a picture of Obama in the African garb that Bush wore and say that in his personal opinion Obama is an Al Qaeda mole.
But now I no longer fear this. McCain has blown all his credibility and such an add now would get the opposite reaction.

If I see one more thread attacking Sarah Palin for stupid **** like this, I just might snap. The Republican candidate for president is JOHN MCCAIN. Ignoring McCain and focusing on Palin is NOT a winning strategy for Democrats.

This was the case a few days ago.
You would have been right.

But at this point there are so many lies.

Think about this...

When do you remember a Presidential Campaign where US Senators and multiple indivuduals are willing to straight up call a candidate "A LIAR".
Palin and McCain are lying so much that people are calling them LIAR straight up without any sugar coating.

Obama is pressing this angle too. And i think all it will take is a couple more lies to get that point across.
I've never seen anything like this.

calling the opponet a liar will backfire.

No... Lying over and over so many times that one loses track of what lies they told... will backfire.

Btw i just saw McCain's new commerical.

"Enough is Enough".

lol i just can't believe this.
All he is doing is copying Obama.
I can't believe he still has support.

This isn't attacking Palin. I am leaning towards writing in or not going at this point... It is non-partisan observation of good old fashion spin from both sides. I thought of putting it in the media section but figured since it had actual quotes from Palin I should put it here.

Besides with McCain's age and health (you can claim he is healthy as a horse if you want people but take off the rose colored glasses, he is old) Palin is important in this race.

I see your point, but why is posting on this message board indicative of the Democrats's strategy?
