Tunisia's parliamentary election sees 11% voter turnout


Tunisia's dictator Kais Saied was hoping these elections would legitimize his rule. Instead it looks like his government is seen as less legitimate than anyone thought. The Opposition boycot worked so well only 11% of the voters turned up. There are now even an issue with several seats being empty because no Candidates stood for them.
