For not revealing he donated $75,000 to the Clinton Foundation when he interviewed Peter Schweitzer the author of Clinton Cash?
1= Little
10= Greatest
What should happen to him? Nothing, Suspension (how long) Fired How long will he be tarnished? Currently he is the co-host of Good Morning America which has the highest ratings of the three major networks. He is also the host of the Sunday morning news discussion program This Week.
Here is Peter Schweitzer's opinion column in today's USA Today
Stephanopoulos, ABC have not fully disclosed Clinton ties: Schweizer
It's not damage control, I even included Peter Schwitzer's Op/Ed. I was interested in what people thought. If you think the numbers of posts I make shows you how damaged George is, you have a serious problem CJ. Seriously.Damn, the more and more Pete posts threads and comments defending Georgie Boy, I'm more and more convinced that he's damaged goods and that he's an integral part of the Hillary Clinton campaign team. Pete doesn't do this much damage control for just anyone.
I agree with the zero assessment. Heck he has only to look at the Terry Mcauliffe example. That pinheaded crook and Clinton cheerleader is now the governor of a state.

In my eyes he was always a scumbag Leftist whore who is a disgrace to his profession..How much lower can you get?
Perhaps you could enlighten me about my "serious problem". You know, we who are afflicted are often the last to recognize the symptoms. Give me the bad news doc, I can take it.
Stepho hasn't been hurt, because in the journalistic circles he runs in, he is one among many.
As to ABC and the other MSM outlets, just more confirmation of what was already well known.
Greetings, ocean515. :2wave:
Why was this even a front page story? Oh I understand that he wasn't being upfront in telling everyone that he donated to the Clintons - which doesn't really qualify as a big surprise to anyone, BTW - but unless that's a crime, who the H*** really cares what he does with his money? And I don't even like the guy and never watch him! If he broke a network rule, that's another story, but why should the public care about that? That's in-house, and now we're supposed to think networks always act ethically in everything they do? :yawn: Or was this meant to serve as a means to deflect attention from Hillary's many problems and get that off the front page for a while, which many people think might be the case? :thumbdown:
Hi Polgara :2wave:
I'm of the belief that nothing ever happens in a vacuum. Headline manipulation is a well developed tactic, and George is among those who is likely quite good at it.
I, like you, never watch the guy. I also understand his background and affiliations. Like you, if he broke a network rule, then the network should take care of it.
I could be wrong, but I don't remember a time when so many members of the fifth estate were affiliated so strongly with one political ideology.
You problem is using me as your guide to how damaged George Stephanopoulos was. I was being facetious BTW.
You must have missed the run up to the war in Iraq and May 1, 2003 when President Bush declared "Mission Accomplished"
Except that journalism isn't his profession. Yeah, it's what he's doing, but he's not educated as a journalist, so it's not surprising that he doesn't adhere to it's other many professional requirements.
Wait, how do you really feel?In my eyes he was always a scumbag Leftist whore who is a disgrace to his profession..How much lower can you get?
