Oil cartridges

I have what is probably a dumb question. I prefer vaporizing flower, but I often can't find a strain I want in flower - only in oil. So, I'm considering an oil vaporizer and my question is this - are .5, 1.0, and 2.0 cartridges (510) different lengths but the same diameter?

I've been buying a few, assuming you're speaking of gram of product, I've bought .8, 1, and 1.2 here and yes same diameter all interchangeable to one pen.

While I still like to roll some flower, I am liking the cartridges. Don't feel like rolling one at the moment, just turn it on and take a puff. I go back and forth.

I don't really love the idea of inhaling oil, however little it may be. I'll save it for the strains I can't find in flower. And different voltages rather than temperatures? Whole new world.

Do you mean 0.5g, 1g, 2g cartridges?

The disposable ones come in all shapes and sizes here. But the cartridges that you screw into rechargeable battery packs like as follows only very in length as far as I've seen, ie:

While I'm loath to get disposables I may switch over, because cartridges of the sort in that picture just about always start getting clogged once it's about 1/2 to 2/3 finished, and it gets seriously annoying to have to unclog it each time one wants to use it.

I've never had that problem with disposables, ie:

Now that I've said that, I just noticed that one can actually be returned to the store for recycling.

I vastly prefer vapes for things like hiking and insomnia. If I'm tossing and turning from 2am-4am and I take a couple bong rips, drink some water, and lie down, it tends to dry my throat out. Whereas if I was awake, I'd be taking regular sips of water because that's just a thing I do.

Vape is gentler on the throat, and more convenient than packing a bowl yadda yadda

Yeah, they might be good for the middle of the night. With the flower vaporizer I'd have to be cleaning out the vape, grinding and packing new flower.....not the best way to get to sleep right away. I never use a bong though - my sinus can't take the burning up of the weed.

Well! I bought a little disposable pen with Grape Ape while I was waiting on my vaporizer to be delivered. I went slow, and got no visible vapor (or a high) from a couple of puffs on it, though my daughter did fine with it. So I got a cartridge of northern lights and when my vaporizer was delivered, I thought 'ok, I'll take a really good puff on this'. I figured a heated rather than just a 'puff to draw' would probably work a little better, but I was not prepared. So I took one really good hit. I don't know if I've ever been that high - maybe in CA in the late 80s, when I hadn't smoked for a while and was not prepared for the strength of the weed. Maybe when I ate that whole cookie before they were regulated. But I got WAY too much of that oil. Burned my throat too, so I know next time that this one is quite different than the little disposable vape. Live and learn.

My pen has 3 power levels and a preheat mode. Assume yours does as well?
I learned to take 2-3 smaller puffs ilo one big one. Cause yeah, a big hit not to friendly on the throat.

I weas seriously unstable on my feet yesterday after it. I suddenly got really hot and my face was even a little sweaty. Very strange. But thank goodness I'm a very experienced smoker because I can see why people end up panicking and going to the hospital if they don't know how to handle it. Edited to add: When weed was first legalized here and edibles were unregulated, I tried a brownie. I went slow on it because I had no idea how strong it would be. Well, I got almost nothing from that brownie. So when I tried the cookie, I ate the whole thing and was glued to the bed, sitting up and watching tv, for a very long time. Regulation is nice!

I have a few things from Kind Pen - I have 2 of the little Deezy dry flower vaporizers, and now this Breezy. I've had 0 problems with the Deezys, and have had them for over a year.
