Officials forced way in to Stephen Moore home after failure to pay ex-wife debts | US news | The Guardian
Authorized 2013 break-in began process of selling property owned by Trump Fed pick to raise money owed after divorce
A court official accompanied by four police officers had to break into the home of Stephen Moore, Donald Trump’s pick for the Federal Reserve board, after he repeatedly failed to pay debts to his ex-wife.
The group used a locksmith to force their way into Moore’s house in Virginia in May 2013, according to court filings. They were there to prepare the property for a court-ordered sale in order to raise $330,000 that Moore owed his ex-wife after their divorce.

Trump sure knows how to pick appointees. Birds of a feather...
That makes him more like a regular citizen...lol
What man could possibly be more suitable, according to Trump, to sit on the Federal Reserve Board other than a cheater, philanderer (Match.com) and deadbeat than Stephen Moore? Unless of course you count selecting Herman Cain who had to drop out of the 2012 presidential race because of multiple sexual allegations. He's a great choice too under Trump's guidelines.
No, not the people I know, we believe in personal responsibility, which includes paying your debts.
Apparently he's just like a member of your crowd, the Trump base. How sad that this is normal behavior where you come from, no wonder the USA is a world wide laughing stock.

You're too good for the unwashed masses. Eh?
You, as a member of the Trump base, are literally saying that anyone who takes responsibility for their actions is too good for the Trump base.
DUDE!!! :lamo
It's like he's specifically picking people who almost certainly have more skeletons in the closet, skeletons Trump can use to blackmail them at a later date if so required.
Of course, so can enemy agents, but obviously Trump doesn't give a **** about that. Nor, I suspect, will the base.
I'm exposing your elitism.
I'm exposing your elitism.
Paying my debts, and taking responsibility for my actions, makes me an elitist?
No wonder Trump is so popular with you and your friends.
People that are insecure about themselves, for whatever reason, would rather attack others calling them 'elitists' or 'deep state'. The reasons that Trump base may feel they've been left behind are not our problem it's their problem for allowing themselves to be left behind. If people aren't happy with their circumstances, whether it's their economical or educational situation and feel they have a lack of opportunities, then it's on them to change those circumstances and not simply blame others for it. You don't like what you do for a living? Change it. Take classes, seek out re-training programs, work another job to pay for community colleges or trade schools. Life yourself and your life up and stop expecting others to do it for you or continue putting blame on those people that have done exactly that.
My state is filled with people that came from Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia and other states where coal mines shut down or advances in technology and robotics put them our of a job. These people got out of those fields and into new fields of work by applying for free re-training programs offered by the state and funded in part by federal funds. Now they're no longer dependent on coal mines or other jobs that have disappeared. Now they're not crying about their situations and how unfair it is and how Trump will bring back 'beautiful clean coal' or promise jobs in industries that have already changed gears and don't need those people any longer.
Just stop blaming everyone else for your own situations and take charge of your own lives.

You got that evidence of President Trump committing a crime? Still waiting on that.
That's rich coming from a Liberal. :lamo
Why is everything partisan with you? How can Steven Moore advise the nation's finances when he wasn't even able to manage his own? He's not a good pick and neither is Herman Cain.
Trump has a tendency to hire inexperienced and unqualified people for major positions. That's part of the reason why his casinos failed. He hired his brother and wife to head casinos despite the fact that they had no experienced in the business.
And Trump himself is a terrible businessman. Before the Taj Mahal opened an analyst point out that it was doomed to fail because he financed it with junk bonds and it could never make enough money to pay the debts. Months after opening the analyst proved correct. I think it too six months before he defaulted on his debts.
The Trump shuttle was a similar business disaster.
Of the three of them, Trump, Herman Cain and Steven Moore, I would say that Herman Cain is probably the most competent. Yet Cain doesn't have the macroeconomic background to be on the Fed board.
Do you support government forgiveness of student loans?
You're just so childish that it's difficult to even try to respond to your witless, thoughtless comments. It's like trying to be logical with a 2 year old child.
What does that have to do with the fact that you said paying your bills and taking personal responsibility makes one an "elitist"? Let's fully explore that topic before moving on.
Back to the topic: So going by what you said, you and your friends don't pay your bills, and you're always trying to blame someone else for your shortcomings and failures. I think that explains why you and your friends support Trump, he does the same thing. Is that why you support Trump?
