Official Thread for nomination of DP Constitutional Convention Secretary

Ok I just noticed we do not have an official nomination thread for Secretary of the convention. Oversight on my part. Ooopss. :doh



Ok the rules as follows for easy counting for our Secretary Pro Tem's. They are the same as the Presidential nomination rules.


Any person who has voted yes in the original poll regarding the convention and only such a person may nominate. (note this includes everyone who has voted 50+ right now.)

Any person who has voted yes in the original poll regarding the convention and only such a person may be nominated.

Any nomination of another person must be confirmed by the person nominated.

Any self-nomination must be seconded by another person.

A person may make multiple nominations and seconds.

Nominations, acceptances, and seconds may not be rescinded. If anyone wishes to exclude themselves from being nominated or from having their nomination recognized, they should PM me. (paleocon, vasuderatorrent, Your Star, Kal Stang, or myself.)

11-07-14 11:59 PM CST is the latest any actions will be accepted in this thread. ( I am extending the Secretary nominations 2 days to give comparable time for nominating the Secretaries)

It is absolutely required for any NOMINATING action in this thread to be recognized that #nomination be contained within the post. (For counting purposes.)

Vasuderatorrent, and Paleocon have been doing a good job as co secretaries so I would like to see them continue. However if they are not elected I would like to see Tres Borrachos. I think she would do well in that position.

They will be keeping tally of official votes, keeping the final version of documents, and informing all the participants of the convention with as accurate information as possible. That's the quick and dirty version.

I'd like to be part of the convention, but not as a secretary or anyone in charge. I don't currently have the time for that responsibility, but thank you for including me in the discussion!

Seems like the 3 persons everyone thus far wants nominated are fairly good choices - I don't know Tres all that well, but vasuder and Pale seem on top of the whole secretary bit thus far.

In a somewhat confused, haphazard way...but then that is to be expected when we're starting from no rules.
