Official thread for nominating DP Constitutional Convention President

Its the only way I know of to contact all the participants who wish to be contacted. If you have a better method I am game because, to be blunt that's a lot of typing, and I type with the T-Rex method of typing. You are nominated by the way, for president of the convention. Do you wish to run for president of the convention bar keep?

That was for secretary of the convention. We went though this thread and he has not be nominated for president. If you still think he was nominated for president please point to the post number in THIS thread and I will see to it is put on the ballot. As of now haymarket is only nominated for secretary of the convention.

I see my name in the list, but haven't been contacted. Where's the disconnect?

Maybe having everyone subscribe to the thread would work better? It puts the onus on the members and they selectively not subscribe to threads that they don't care to participate in.

That would probably work best in conjunction with our own subforum since people wouldn't then have to wade through the Constitution forum looking for new convention threads. Or perhaps if a subforum isn't on the horizon prefixing all "our" threads with "Convention: " or something similar. Anything to set our threads off from the rest

It was added late I think. I wouldn't expect perfection. We are an ad hoch team trying to keep up. Do you wish accept?

That's a good idea. I tried for a subforum, we may still get one or maybe a more quiet corner, I don't know on that end.

I see 2 or 3 people working independently, and not as a team. Some are in such a haste that no one can keep up. This is suppose to be fun. Based on that I would say NO.

I say we go with yours. You PM'd all of the nominees and the once that accepted said yes. So that is the one we should go with.
