Official: Performance czar withdraws candidacy

WASHINGTON (AP) - Nancy Killefer, who failed for a year and a half to pay employment taxes on household help, has withdrawn her candidacy to be the first chief performance officer for the federal government, the White House said Tuesday.

Killefer was the second major Obama administration nominee to withdraw and the third to have tax problems complicate their nomination after President Barack Obama announced their selection.

This is getting rediculous.... Is this the change being brought to washington?

Is the Obama camp reviewing these picks or is he just choosing these all willy nilly.

Furthermore. It is abhorrent that turbo tax gheitner has not withdrawn... .

So far I am unimpressed.

I think the highest number of indictments for a President's administration is Reagan with over 200. Looking at what's going into Obama's stuff, understanding his Chicago history...I wonder if he'll be able to break it. It seems like he's stacking the deck to be able to do it, and maybe within 4 years what took Reagan 8 to do.

Breitbart's headline is a poor one. No one knows what a performance czar is. But people DO HAVE an idea of what the "deputy director for management at the Office of Management and Budget" is.

They could have written:

OMB Exec Candidate Withdraws.
