Q: Is President Obama’s trip to India going to cost $200 million per day?

On Nov. 4, Pentagon Press Secretary Geoff Morrell called the story "absolutely absurd," because it had claimed that the U.S. Navy was sending 34 warships to the coast off Mumbai as part of the president’s visit:

In other words....

Nothing to see here ugly chickens, move along.

this like, the 4th thread on this. come on people...

Because it's so much fun to point it out. Why is it that this stuff always seems to make onto Fox News as an actual story even though it's unsubstantiated? And Glenn Beck always seems to spear head it followed by Sean Hannity. Conservative internment camps, death panels, Obama isn't a U.S. citizen, and now this. Christ, how can anyone with a shred of integrity watch a channel that proliferates such outright lies? I mean I understand being in the tank for your candidate...but deliberately broadcasting blatant disinformation. People need to talk about this. Where are the whales the liberal media are spreading?

It's quite comical to listen to such wild accusations with no basis especially when the source originates overseas. Is it possible that it will cost the government of India hundreds of millions to host the President? Maybe, but that's their problem, not ours...unless that price tag does get billed to the U.S. Treasure. Now, it becomes our problem. But for now as things stand, I'm not giving in to :spin: or wild exaggerations. Show me the $200 million bill to the fed for this trip and I'm right there screaming right along with ya'.

My throat is a bit scratchy. After seeing that bill, can I just hold a sign or something?
