You are misinformed.
You've been kidding yourself for some time.
The sheep are the ones who see this number as a Success.
Not even wanting the qualifying data that would PROVE it was a success because they believe everyone is as easily lied to as themselves.
You see a arbitrary number out of context and you dedicate a stupid thread to it.
WE see through the White Houses BS, and call that number what it is.
Food for the easilly entertained hard core Obama supporter.
If Obama isnt reporting how many people have paid its not because he doesn't know. Its because its really BAD NEWS.
As hard up Obama is for a Success story, if even half of these people paid, they would be reporting it.
Over and over and over.
Okay.....so now they have broke even with the 6 mil that lost their coverage. 6 minus 6=0! :lamo
Sure you do.I don't know what "Fake News" is.
Will those 6 million who had their mostly ****ty coverage cut by insurance companies ever get it back?
Have some already gotten it back?
For every single one who gets it back, who will they vote for in November ?
Speaking of, I'm missing the Reverend Al's show. I only get to watch him when the husband and kids aren't home (like now). I'll bet he's going to be all over this good news.
Can Team Obama really count what is sitting in an internet cart waiting for a User to decide.....will they or wont they. We already have some info on them counting the cart sign ups. It isn't close to being accurate.
So why ask the same question which you already have the answer like in the other thread on the Extension.
The idea was to have 7.5 million *PAYING* customers by Monday. Otherwise is couldn't pay for itself.
When it comes to stuff life this, Forbes is no better than Fox News. It's a business website owned and run by businesses. I don't expect such a website to say good things about Obamacare.
I don't know what "Fake News" is.
I Kant believe you actually did that.Well, it was the only one that bothered to define sign ups, which is why I linked it.
Oh they know.
I dont buy that for a second.
They're running adds reminding people that just signing up doesn't mean your'e covered.
As hard up Obama is for a Success story, if even half of these people paid, they would be reporting it.
Over and over and over.
Of course they're counting those. If not, the numbers wouldn't be even close.
I would prefer to see the bottom line number; those that have actually signed up, paid for and have been issued an insurance policy through ObamaCare minus the 6 million plus that lost their insurance due to ObamaCare.
That's the real number. So far, even counting those that haven't paid or been issued a policy, O'Care is still behind the curve when offset by those that lost their insurance.
But, that's not what we're supposed to talk about. It doesn't fit the narrative of "Hope and Change."
The White House announced that 6 million people entered some kind of information on the websites. No mention of how many of them actually paid. No mention of the fact that we were constantly told that there were 48 million uninsured in 2012. No mention of how many of the 6 million were from the group of 5 million whose insurance was cancelled.
But to the left, this is exciting news?
I'm curious - since there were reportedly about 40 million Americans without any kind of health insurance coverage when Obamacare was proposed adopted and the intent was to allow more people to qualify under Medicaid guidelines and to qualify under highly government subsidized plans, where does the 7.5 million paying customers figure come from?
Heya Beaudreaux. :2wave: Check these out.
Finally, IBD offers the real reason for the extensions and the Obama administration attempts to dodge demands for the hard numbers from HHS:
No, the real reason for the deadline delay is that Obama is desperate to get lagging enrollment numbers as high as he can, any way he can.
It’s the same reason the administration refuses to produce data on how many ObamaCare “enrollees” have actually paid their premiums: HHS officials insist they just don’t have that information.
But this week Reps. Dave Camp and Kevin Brady discovered that the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services has been telling insurers to report both enrollment and payment data. That, the lawmakers say, strongly suggests “the administration knows who has enrolled and paid their first month’s premium.”
In addition, eight state-run exchanges — each built with federal grant money — have managed to produce nonpayment data for some time now.
That picture isn’t very pretty. In Maryland, 46% of enrollees haven’t paid their premiums so far. In Vermont, 36% are unpaid. Overall, about one in five people in these states has yet to pony up.
If that average holds nationwide, it means that fully 1 million people haven’t paid for their ObamaCare plans yet and could lose their coverage.....snip~

This was from a 30 min Radio Show where they used numbers from O'Care, CBO, and Kaiser. Then did the Math.
According to what I am hearing they wont make the numbers Obama reduced down to. That they needed 40% of the young. They don't even have 30%. Moreover they don't know how many have paid.
H1: 03/26/14: Guy Benson and Mary Katharine Ham
This was Guy Benson filing in for Hewitt.....with the Editor of Hot Air. They go thru it pretty good with whats been said out there.
Its not looking good at all for the Overstock.com.
Democrats, including the President, made up whatever they needed to make up to sell this scheme to the American people, and they're still making crap up to justify it.
Individuals in both parties are guilty of exaggerating the truth when it comes to O'Care. Certain Dems lying about how great it is, and certain Reps lying about how bad it is.
The Republicans would still have enough to demonize it without making up crap. The Democrats should just stick to the good parts, and admit the screwed up parts.
In other words, the Dems should take the Reps up on the repeal and replace plan, and then take credit for pushing the Reps into acting on health care reform.
I just don't get it. This could be a win/win for the Dems. The Reps would have a hard time taking credit nationally for health care reform at all, even IF the Dems agreed to repeal and replace. The Reps could get credit on a local level in the Congressional districts and the Dems could still get the national vote numbers to hold the White House in 2016 (not that that's what I would like to see, but they could).
