Obama under pressure to prove Russian interference in election | TheHillThe Obama administration is under intense pressure to release evidence confirming Russian interference in the presidential election before leaving office. The administration up until now has provided little documentation to back up its official October assessment that the Russian government was attempting to interfere in the U.S. election.
Nor has it corroborated subsequent leaks from anonymous officials contending that the CIA believes the campaign was an attempt by Russian President Vladimir Putin to ensure Donald Trump’s victory.

Looks like Russia is putting the screws to the Obama bull**** claims system of doing business. I find that amusing as hell.

It would be very surprising indeed, if it were not true. The Russians have been attacking us and the EU at a number of levels in a nonlinear war. One main aim is to undermine the system legitimacy of the enemy. So, why would it seem absurd to believe a war criminal would not pursue his goals?
Until clear evidence is shown, I am not buying the Russian hacking claims. Obama claimed to have such ev[idence several months ago and did nothing about it during all that time leading up to the election. and judging by the way the supposedly hacked information kept flowing out, I don't buy that hacking was the source. Much of the information leaked by WikiLeaks was very up to date. In some cases days to weeks. That does not happen when someone is hacked, especially if the government claims to have known about it. When you know you have been hacked, you immediately take steps to secure your network. I believe that the leaks were from a DNC insider pissed over how Bernie Sanders was treated. And if Hillary had won, we would not be hearing about alleged Russian hacking. Imposing sanctions on Russia without backing up the claims with evidence will only result in Russia responding in kind.

In spring 2016, APT28 compromised the same political party, again via targeted spearphishing.
This time, the spearphishing email tricked recipients into changing their passwords through a
fake webmail domain hosted on APT28 operational infrastructure. Using the harvested
credentials, APT28 was able to gain access and steal content, likely leading to the exfiltration of
information from multiple senior party members. The U.S. Government assesses that information
was leaked to the press and publicly disclosed.

Do you believe your President or theirs? Think about what that means before knee-jerking.
It did work for Benghazi...Yeah ... what's with the automatic buy-in without evidence?
Until something more concrete presents itself why the hell should we accept anything.
Why would anyone think our own intelligence services can't be politicized at the highest level. (e.g. John Brennan)
I'm curious who on either side has actually seen any evidence or if they're just repeating third hand claims.
With each repetition it becomes more streamlined and definitive until it's in the zeitgeist as accepted fact.
There's too much of it and susceptibility to it is high.
Other subjects are handled the same way ... climate change, for example ... that one especially.
Maybe Trump is wise to use timely Twitter posts to combat what the media has become used to doing without challenge.
But if he does keep doing it he had better choose his words carefully or they get too easily turned against him.
I'm an old man, I remember the Cold War, the USSR, all the satellite wars between 'us and them', etc. and now Putin is trying to bring back the old USSR and the Russian dictatorships.
So never in my life I thought I'd see the day when Conservatives especially would be excusing and defending anything, or anyone Russian. I remember when some Liberals would defend Russia the Cons would call them commies, and traitors and pinkos. lol Now because of politics it's all changed.
My God!! How far the Conservatives in this country have fallen. Even if it means defending a butcher like Putin their ideology now is nothing more than to hate anything and anyone that's not conservative.

It did work for Benghazi...
Did Russia force Hillary to not campaign in Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Michigan, etc.? Did Russia force the DNC to rig the primaries against Bernie Sanders?
If you answered 'no' to any of these, then it isn't Russia that is the problem.
It is not possible to have evidence as we normally understand the term
All obama can do is run out some hack at the CIA to give us an opinion
A handful of NSA whistleblowers, Thomas Drake, William Binney, Kirk Weibe, Diane Roark an a few others disagree with you on that point.
Who shall I believe?
