Obama: Time to refocus on domestic matters

I dismiss the notion that it should be a prevalent topic in serious discussions regarding current policy.

I disagree. It informs much of our policy visions.

OMG! Really? Look, it is laid out. The Constitution specifically lays out what the government can do. Period. It was specifically written like that to keep overbearing government in check. Clue, the Founders were fleeing exactly that type of government in England.

And that is the thing liberals often get dead wrong like Obama.

American Exceptionalism is a myth, at least the way lots of people use it. Americans can be exceptional, we have been exceptional in the past, but we're not just naturally exceptional without trying. Over the past couple of decades, we've stopped trying. We've shipped our industry overseas, we've stopped being a global leader in innovation, we've just... existed. That's not exceptional. We can get it back again, we just have to stop being the whiny bitches of the planet.

Yep.... Time for the US to stop spending on one of the few LEGAL/CONSTITUTIONAL items in the budget and start throwing even more of the money at the UNCONSTITUTIONAL things.... Healthcare, Education, etc....
