Obama: Solving Euro Crisis of ‘Huge Importance’

I see the UK has started to buck the Eurozone and if they're successful financially others could follow. I don't think linking up all the train cars is a great idea if the engine goes off the tracks. We see the inherent weakness in a global economy when something like the Credit Bubble pops.

It´s too late. That´s already happened.

But "fascism" is a little harsh. "Crony Capitalism", as we see in the US now, might be more appropriate.

Only because the full merger is not complete, but ya, "crony capitalism" is more "PC"...

Absolutely!

I see an independent Britain as a hugely positive thing and the more they can distance themselves from this EU thing the better,,

The British people should never have become involved in this mess and should maintain their own sovereignty and independence, for the good or bad.. Either way they will be "the masters of their fate, the captains of their soul'' - not some bureaucrat in Brussels, Paris or Berlin.. The Ëuroskeptics were right all along.

No it can't but it should

bottom line, he is the president of the United States of America. not the world, i know the global economy collapsing is bad for us but the most we can and should do is get ready for the impact of it. plane and simple its a bad investment to bail them out unless they change there spending like we need to.

What I don't like is that the ECB through Brussels have almost succeeded where Hitler failed in taking over Europe completely without any resistance, except for some austerity demonstrations. Trust me whomever controls the money has the power. Those sell outs Merkel and Sarkozy will be reduced to figure heads. Can't believe their own people aren't more upset, maybe they're right when they say Europe is becoming one big experiment of Socialism?
How Brussels' Deal May Save the Euro but Not the E.U. - Yahoo! News

Here's an article that basically warns Britain that if they don't join the Union financially and give up control that half the trading they do with the rest of Europe will be threatened. What a bunch of poop!
