“We have made progress in narrowing the gaps, but those gaps still exist,” Mr. Obama said in an interview with CBS News aired on Sunday morning’s “Face the Nation” program. “And I would say that over the next month or so, we’re going to be able to determine whether or not their system is able to accept what would be an extraordinarily reasonable deal, if in fact, as they say, they are only interested in peaceful nuclear programs.”
He said Iran must decide whether it is willing to open up in the way such an agreement would require. “If we have unprecedented transparency in that system, if we are able to verify that in fact they are not developing weapons systems, then there’s a deal to be had,” Mr. Obama said. “But that’s going to require them to accept the kind of verification and constraints on their program that so far, at least, they have not been willing to say yes to.”

Next month or so?
What happens after 10 years?
“But that’s going to require them to accept the kind of verification and constraints on their program that so far, at least, they have not been willing to say yes to.”

If you're looking for some sort of long-term, perfect guarantee, I don't know what to tell you. The universe does not work that way.
That's a pretty weird interpretation.

As we do not have the details, all you have is conjecture.

How long have the negotiations been ongoing?
What's been accomplished?
What is Iran doing with their Nuclear program while the clock goes tick-tock?
Well till they can be trusted.
If not, then leave the present sanctions in place, and increase them.
You aren't ever going to trust them.
They stopped quite some time ago.
Are you for war or sanctions if the deal falls thru?
Μολὼν λαβέ;1064398923 said:I will go with sanctions until its proven they have nuclear capabilities.
However, do you think sanctions will prevent Iran from attaining nuclear capabilities?
Will sanctions prevent Iran from continuing to be one of the biggest state sponsors of terrorism in the world?
What do you think should happen if Iran gets the "bomb?"
I do not understand why America's right is so focused on Iran. Pakistan is a country which has nuclear weapons and is far less stable than Iran. Is it the relative closeness of Iran to Israel? Is it the result of right-wing Israeli propaganda?
Things may change in a couple weeks if Netanyahu and the Likud lose the upcoming elections. Presently, Likud and the Zionist Union parties are basically tied in polling
I don't really care THAT much whether Iran has nukes or not...though I would rather they did not if pressed. But it's no big deal to me.
They will never use them, because if they did either or both Israel/America would obliterate Iran within an hour in retaliation. So why would Iran ever use them (the question is rhetorical)?
Besides, if Israel has them (which despite their silence, they obviously do), I cannot fault Iran for wanting them.

Do you think Pakistan isn't watched at all times?
Most Pakistani Muslims follow the Sunni Doctrine of Islam.
1. Has Pakistan told the world its overarching desire is to wipe Israel off the map?
2. Pakistan has India to keep an eye on them.
3. Pakistan isn't run by religious zealots.
4. Pakistan is our ally.
5. Which country is a target of terrorists? Pakistan or Iran?
