Disputes 'between friends': Obama, Netanyahu at WH - Yahoo! News

Did any of you see Netanyahu slap the President down, even though he did it with respect?

NO ONE takes Obama seriously and he has no credibility with Israel, the Arab states, the Croatians, the Poles, the Russians, the Asians, the Pacific Rim....

He is an EMPTY SUIT and just because the Left loves the guy and his rhetoric, doesn't mean it's true.

Nothing this guy is portrayed as is real. The world knows it, why don't his supporters know it?

It's like a select coach talking to the 'dad' recreational coach.

One is accompished; the other is pretending.

Amazing, wasn't it? Obama has to be seething and he was completely destroyed at this press conference. Wonder why he even had a press conference as he had to know what was coming or else his advisors are the dumbest in the world.

NO one takes him seriously? Seriously. Have you not been paying attention to the rapid rise of Democracy throughout the world over the last year as a direct result of the shift in Obama's foreign policy from the previous clown's?

I thank God every day for a President that is finally restoring honor and integrity to this country. We are once again becoming the shining beacon to the world that we haven't been for the last decade.

Working out great, the majority are seeing exactly the empty suit they voted for in 2008. Netanyahu put the "boy child" in his place and the world saw it.

Of course you do, socialists have to stick together. Honor and integrity in your world isn't mainstream but carry on.

You do realize that your hero, GWB, believes in the same proposal, right? I guess that makes him a "Socialist" and you a "socialist apologist"?

Netenyahoo is a right wing fascist. Obama had to invite him so that he could respond to Obama's ME plan. He responded. He is what he is.

You'll be crying come November of next year.

Do you realize your full of bs? Bush never agreed to returning to the 1967 boundaries. Obama has his ass handed to him, it was a man talking to a boy

You need to do a little research con......the policy verbalized by Obama has been the US policy for the last decade. Sorry.

You'll be crying come November of next year.

The results say it will be you that is crying, there is no reason to re-elect Obama. His record is there for all to see but the kool-aid drinkers refuse to even look at results. 15 million unemployed Americans, 1.8% GDP growth, and 4 trillion added to the debt. All worse than when he took office and after spending over a trillion dollars on a stimulus plan. Why would anyone ignore that record and vote for Obama?

Sorry but the letter from Bush to Congress is on line and was overwhelmingly approved by Congress in a bypartisan way. There was total and complete support for Israel and refusal to force Israel back to those borders.

And after that statement, no one will take you seriously either

It beats eating our young like you guys are doing.

And in the land of Shwarzenegger, Gingrich, and Trump it is?

Right, so what you are saying is that results don't matter as you prefer rhetoric.

Here is the letter to Israel from President Bush, a letter that was overwhelmingly approved by Congress. This is the U.S. Policy. To claim that Bush's policy and Obama's are the same is a lie

Ariel Sharon and George W. Bush's letters in full - Haaretz Daily Newspaper | Israel News

In typical con fashion....you post a generic Bush letter that includes zero specifics and then attempt to argue that because it says Nothing....it obviously means "Something".

The only thing that you are correct is that GWB never specifically mentions 1967 boundaries...however it has been the official US position for the last decade.

In 2005, Bush Stated: "Any Final Status Agreement Must Be Reached Between The Two Parties, And Changes To The 1949 Armistice Lines Must Be Mutually Agreed To." From Bush's statement during a May 26, 2005, press conference with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas:

Any final status agreement must be reached between the two parties, and changes to the 1949 Armistice Lines must be mutually agreed to. A viable two-state solution must ensure contiguity on the West Bank, and a state of scattered territories will not work. There must also be meaningful linkages between the West Bank and Gaza. This is the position of the United States today; it will be the position of the United States at the time of final status negotiations.

The imminent Israeli disengagement from Gaza, parts of the West Bank, presents an opportunity to lay the groundwork for a return to the roadmap. All parties have a responsibility to make this hopeful moment in the region a new and peaceful beginning. That is why I assigned General Kip Ward, who is with us today, to support your efforts, Mr. President, to reform the Palestinian security services and to coordinate the efforts of the international community to make that crucial task a success. The United States also strongly supports the mission of the Quartet's special envoy, Jim Wolfensohn, to make sure that the Gaza disengagement brings Palestinians a better life. [Press Conference with Presidents Bush and Abbas, 5/26/05]

I think you are nuts and ignore reality, I posted the letter that was approved by Congress which of course you ignored. You do that a lot. Do you know what UN Resolution 242 was?

Where have you been for the last 6 months?

In a little place I like to call reality.

You actually attribute a...
rapid rise of Democracy throughout the world over the last year
...directly to Obama?

Where is this rapid rise of Democracy? How many dictators have been overthrown? How many military governments replaced with freely elected leaders? Can you tell us?

Nope.

Letter from Bush in 2004:
"In light of new realities on the ground, including already existing major Israeli population centers, it is unrealistic that the outcome of final status negotiations will be a full and complete return to the armistice lines of 1949, and all previous efforts to negotiate a two-state solution have reached the same conclusion. It is realistic to expect that any final status agreement will only be achieved on the basis of mutually agreed changes that reflect these realities..."

Given Netanyahu's response, maybe Obama has now reached that conclusion, too.
