Obama Must Return To Islamic Roots...Or Else

No, I didn't get him saying that.

He said convert to Islam and be saved, and all other religions are fake.

A religious leader saying his God saves and all other religions are fake -- that's a pretty unusual message for a religious leader to make, I agree.

He did say those things but also rooted in his diatribe were the usual threats against of violence against America if we failed to meet his/islam's demands.

Those threats were based on America maintaining military occupation and positions in the ME; not on Obama failing to convert to Islam.

I don't know Irie...they seem connected to me. I could be wrong but I'm interpreting his words with a western mindset.

"...if you refuse to return to your (islamic) roots, the the way allah created you, withdraw your huge armies and military bases from muslim lands...know. Obama, that America for all its size and might will know no peace...if you refuse, Obama, and insist on remaining in muslim lands, know that allah still plants in (muslims) obedience to him and they are willing to (wait) on paradise..."

From what i gathered it seemed he was stressing most that Americans get out of the lands of the Muslims and Arabs. However, not to mean that they wont bomb the western world once we do....thats not the case. They wont be happy till this entire world is rid of Christians and Jews... or the very least, Obama converts and aligns himself, along with the US, in the ranks of the radicals. thankfully for the Buddhists, these radicals havent been brain washed to exterminate there people. so its just the christian and jewish folks that need to worry about these degenerates ;]

Could be, if this was the statement in toto I'd could see it. In the first part of the tape he ranted about how Muslim is the true religion and the rest are fake, and if Obama converts he'll have honor and glory. In the second half he rants about how if the US doesn't quit meddling in their part of the world there will be consequences. The quoted part was the bridge, and is a bit ambiguous. I didn't hear the point of the message being that Obama must convert to Islam or America would be attacked.

But I agree it's a bit hard to figure out exactly the true meaning of a ranting ideolog.

Remember at the beginning of his diatribe the stated premise was to send a 3 fold message to "...the leader of Europe and America, Obama...". With that I'm led to believe he's holding Obama responsible for any future attacks on us through his failure to convert to islam and then his actions from that point forward...starting today.

But again, western mindset, middle eastern rant.

Oh, I remember...(was it last year?) Muslims were killing Buddhists, so they're not safe either. ANYONE that doesn't believe as they do is not safe.

I didn't get that from it at all. What I saw was a religious fundamentalist telling someone to convert and they will be saved and that every other ideology is the wrong one. It sounds pretty similar to what a lot of Christian fundamentalists say too. Though, what I found amusing was what he was saying after he asked Obama to convert. He kept saying these different variations of pro-Islam one-liners. Maybe he wants to get into the bumper sticker making biz.
 
I had always assumed that roots of something were, those somethings that came before that which is now.
Christianity is assumed to be some 2000 and odd years as a recognised Religion whereas Islam um let me see 1400 years or thereabouts?
Do please correct me if I am wrong.

Nothing is unusual about it. His a radicalist. There hypocrites. It says in the Quaran, right smack infront of there faces not to hate or kill or discriminate, yet these so called religious leaders just spread hate and descriminate, saying other religions are false and they have a first class ticket to paradise.
